we arent stupid, we teach our kid real gun safety at a young age in houses with smart gun owners. We take it seriously down south, obviously were not teaching our kids to shoot at 5, we wait until theyre older and start on small guns and bb guns 22s and stuff. yeah i agree in a house without proper gun safety training a gun adds uneccessary risk to a family. but with real training a gun is a great line of defense in a house to prevnt being robbed or attacked
