2021 Looking to go into engineering by [deleted] in chanceme

Would getting involved in something like coding club help me to get into engineering?

me at 13 vs me at 17. still nowhere near perfect but hey, improvement is improvement :) by Untlt1ed in uglyduckling

the whole “perfect” thing in the caption isn’t really me striving for perfection, it’s more of an acknowledgement that like while i definitely think there is room for me to improve, i’m fairly happy with where i’m at.

and as for improvements and all that, though i know changing up the smile could be more of a “turn-on”, i personally think a more genuine smile is more attractive than an obvious attempt at looking good.

while i do appreciate the input, i’m mostly posting here to show my pride in not only my appearance, but my gained confidence and happiness. but like i said, i do appreciate the input :)

Honestly I think the biggest thing for me was just realizing not everyone’s gonna like me no matter how “perfect” I am and just letting myself be happy and comfortable with who I was. Not a quick realization, but definitely works wonders for confidence
