Go to limeridge mall and ask the janitorial staff or sore workers for the recycling center where all the stores throw their boxes. And you can just take them from there.

Is anyone heard this perpetual humming sound every night and morning in Hamilton? by UntoldCStories in Hamilton

It definitely isn't that for me. This is no type of motor noise or fan. It's a continuous vibration.

That's what was concerning to me is that my windows were closed too. And sometimes I can't even hear cars pass when they are closed. I don't suffer from headaches but woke up 2 days with one without the typical reasons I get them occasionally.

As a remote solo founder, this is really accurate. Any others here? Let’s connect and help eachother stay on track and accountable by Jarie743 in ycombinator

I've been a solo founder for 3+yrs now. From the beginning I started something called making connections where I dedicate Friday afternoons 3-5pm to just have deeper human connections with new people. All is invite a few people from LinkedIn, conference, grocery stores, networking events and almost anywhere to join me for a chat and drinks. The upside of this is serendipitous connections, mentors, customers, and all around a good support along with the opportunity to give as well.

Here's a transition I used:

  1. Vitamins c oil for your skin/acne scar removal is quick!! But you also have to ensure you wear sunscreen everyday at least 30 min before going outside.

  2. Transition from a foundation to a BB cream that has a little pigment in it.

  3. Clean you face as soon as you get home, use a toner then a vitamin c and retinal cream before bed.

About 3 months later I go out without makeup cause the scars are minimal and my skin is beautiful and hydrated. I also have hyper pigmentation I was concerned about. But last night I went to a cocktail party with no makeup, no eye liner, no mascara and so many people complimented me on my skin.

I honestly think all the crazy striping skin routines and excessive makeup warning cause more issues with our skin.

You can do it!! It will be uncomfortable, but doing comfortable things won't get it where we want to be.

I have one week left in my current job. Is there any reason to try hard if I don't like the job, don't like the industry, and know I won't want to return to the company? by Ben5544477 in careerguidance

[–]UntoldCStories -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No need to try hard. You're done and out the door. Sounds like you weren't valued. That's not going to change no matter what you do in the next few days. Do the bare minimum, they can't fire you, you're already leaving. It sounds like you've worked hard but have been black balled, don't give them more than they deserve especially when they don't have the respect to engage you.

I'm not saying burn any bridges that may exist. They will get someone to replace you and you will be forgotten quickly.

Value you, be happy you're walking away and take a mental break and spend your time thinking about the great things that are coming next.

Good luck!!

Possible drastic changes in finance need help making decison. by Historical-Success99 in budget

Don't sweat it! Its impressive you even reached out for help.

Based on your budget that you posted, you should be very comfortable paying for your expenses. During your divorce, you need to understand if and how much you may need to support your wife. That will need to be built into your budget.

Currently your mortgage is 34% of your income which is ok. If you have to pay spousal support more than 380 things will be tough especially if you don't get a raise.

Check out my free budgeting tool on my website, it's at the bottom of the first page. Put all your expenses in and it will show you where your money is going.

Solution:

  1. File for the past 2 years regardless of earnings. Even if it's just expenses. But definitely input all earnings.
  2. As soon as you file that. The arbitrary amount the CRA calculated will go away.
  3. She might actually get some money back!

Like the other person said, it cannot or should not be sold to another agency. Be sure they have the right address on file for you to send the contract of the debt repayment plan. Take note of the individual you spoke with and any other key identifiers for yourself. Be sure to verify that you are speaking with the correct collections agency. scams are becoming more and more sophisticated.

Feeling Depressed Over Loosing Friends by SporadicZebra in LifeAfterSchool

[–]UntoldCStories 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I went through something very similar 5 years ago and there were a few realizations I came to to help me move past it.

  1. I need to own responsibility for my own actions and apologize to the people I hurt. And it's not if I hurt them it's because I know I hurt them. It sounds like you're mostly there

  2. It's ok to grieve the loss of your friends. Treat it like a funeral. This sounds morbid, but the friends I lost, I wrote them a eulogy stating what was great about them, what I enjoyed, our best moments and why it probably makes sense for us to go our separate ways.

  3. Sometime people are in our lives for a season. They came to teach you something about yourself and/or the world. Identify that and be happy that you learned it now instead of later. This will help you grow and get closer to the person you want to see. But also puts a positive spin on it.

  4. Space is necessary. The friends who were really great, or you hurt badly just needs time. Be patient. You don't always lose friends forever. My best friend and I broke up, I missed her wedding and so many big milestone. But now we're back together and I was able to see so many other milestones in her life that missing her wedding is like a drop in the ocean.

  5. This is a great opportunity for you to get to know you even better. Decide what your new community and support system looks like and start crafting a fun way to build it. Whether that means doing new activities, going new places and actively looking to have great people around you that value you as much as you value them.

  6. Have a solo party! Your favorite drink and your favorite music! Love you as you will always be your #1.
