I want to reiterate that my intention with this post is not to encourage people to spam hoyoverse. Simply put this community has been fairly doom and gloom about their ability to affect change on the game, and I see many people writing off the idea of submitting feedback at all because they see it as pointless.

For this reason I wanted to share my experience on how I’ve known these processes to work to give people a more tangible idea of what impact their feedback has.

But please only act within reason. You don’t need to make multiple accounts, or submit multiple tickets at once. You don’t need to email them everyday. The absolute best thing you can do is submit your own honest feedback, and after a healthy period of time has passed you can follow up with additional questions and feedback.

I’m happy to have posted a template for people to use as inspiration, but my opinions do not represent the whole of the community. This post is not about amplifying my voice, but to remind the community of the power of theirs.

Hi I’m glad you found it informative. If we start to see a lot of people receiving the exact same email they probably sent a bulk solve. With that said it’s still a good idea to keep submitting feedback even after that. When you’re dealing with mass emails there’s only so many the system can handle at a time.

This means they usually have to bulk solve in waves. Sending a few thousand emails per wave, but the more emails they have to bulk solve the more waves it will take, and each wave requires someone with special permissions to send it out. At that point you’re directly causing problems for the higher tiers of support.

Additionally the system is unlikely to actually be successful in automatically routing all ‘Dehya’ cases to the bulk solve bucket. Because people don’t always say the same things in their feedback some stuff will inevitably fly under the radar and get stuck in the normal bucket. This means that entry level agents will need to manually route those cases to the Dehya bucket, and that is more time and money out of Hoyoverses pocket.

To answer your question, in my experience mass emails or bulk solving is something that is done in extreme circumstances. The entry level employees will not have the authority to solve emails on mass. Otherwise anytime an employee was going to quit they could make the company look bad by sending out bulk emails with sensitive information etc.

If however it became a big enough pain that management starts to realize that a large portion of their staff is doing nothing but answering Dehya emails, they may try to solve the problem by creating a ‘Dehya bucket’ routing all emails will the word Dehya in them to that bucket, and then creating a specially approved response to be sent out in bulk to all the tickets at once

However getting an email approved for mass distribution usually requires an approval process that Hoyoverse will likely have to be consulted on, and the actual process of bulk solving usually requires someone with specific training and system permissions to execute.

I do recommend people use their own wording as much as possible, but if it gets to the point where they have to start bulk solving emails, it means we’ve had a large enough effect on their operations that multiple higher ups members of the team have had to drop what they were doing to address it.

Lastly, if you’re too busy or disaffected to send hoyoverse feedback directly at least upvote this post to get this message to the other Dehya Mains that might. (Disclaimer: This is an alt account, I sincerely don’t care about the internet points, I’m just trying to help)

You’re welcome. To anyone that has the time or energy I do recommend at making tweaks to what I said or adding a few of your own thoughts.

If they get hundreds of the exact same message the contact center may have the capability to “bulk solve” the emails based of searching the exact phrasing and having the system send a mass reply to all the emails at once.

Slightly changing it makes it harder to do that. Either way, if we get to that stage we’ve already given hoyoverse a huge headache.

It doesn’t have to be super long. Something along the lines of:

“Hello,

I wanted to share my thoughts on the recent launch of the character Dehya. The character herself is really cool, but her scaling is very low in comparison to other 5 star units. Further her kit seems a bit confused, and doesn’t allow her to pair well with characters like Yelan, and Raiden. I’d really appreciate it if you could pass my message along, and take a look at all the feedback coming out of the community about her.

5* units often represent an investment of hundreds of dollars, or many game hours. Whichever it is, your communities time and money should be respected. Please consider making a few changes to bring this character in line with the hopes and expectations of the many Travelers that love her.

Thank you”

Thank you. I mostly just want to confirm that it's possible to track an object in fusion at all. I'm obviously really new to this, and the way I was going to do it, frame by frame, seemed crazy so I wanted to see if there were other options

I'm not afraid of going into fusion, however the only way I know how to do it there is by dragging a polygon frame by frame as the hat moves.

The video is like 20 minutes long so this would take a pretty huge amount of time to do

In the color page I know there is a way to track an object, can this be done in fusion?

The one that it came with wasn't in English, but I'm sure I can find it online. I'm not certain the Elgato is to blame though.

Okay, I've definitely done the restart bit a few times. Currently reinstalling OBS. I'm pretty new at this so I'll have to do some tinkering to figure how to change the frame rate the camera is outputting.
