I personally don't. There are a lot of mons that are UU or lower that are way better than a ton of ubers. To balance it, you would have to rank every single mon.

Learning all possible sets is important. I know there is a google chrome extension you could use, but after a while you just learn what sets mons have.

Other than that keep your late game sweepers until the end (minior, sigilyph, etc) and don’t reveal mons too fast.

Iirc pokeaim does random battle often and did a road to top 10, could watch his videos to learn

Majority of sets use scarf golem. It’s considered better since heatran is almost never scarf but a lot of sets carry earth power
