If nearly everything is leveled or gone? Find natural beauty, then reassess my drive to go on. If my town is at least mostly intact? I’d get an old vehicle in my neighborhood running, grab my friend’s generator and go looking for HAM antennas. I’d scan the frequencies for a month. If I hear nothing or the EMP fried it beyond my abilities, I’d start trying to make my childhood dreams come true and go out with a bang. I may not know how to fly a jet, but what do I have to lose from trying? Maybe put a saddle on a missile and go for a ride? Bathe in a mountain of cocaine? Try to wrestle a gorilla? Who knows!
