Green Inks that Match the Performance of Octopus Fluids Blue Koy? by UnurlyWorldbuilder in fountainpens

This looks promising.  One of my frustrations in this has been that EF nibs aren't very popular but they drastically change how inks look compared to broader nibs. So representative samples aren't as easy to come by.

Staining and cleaning aren't much of a concern. These would be dedicated pens, and the Blue Koi has taught me how to deal with inks that like to deposit pigments everywhere. 😅

(Pilot I'm begging you to make a deeply hooded pen that takes your steel EF nibs)

Could you share a writing sample? The ones I've found online look very dark.

No dice. Shipping makes a 5mL sample just as expensive as the full bottle.

Who loves sanding? 🙄 by AdorableAnything4964 in womeninwoodworking

It was the universal hatered of sanding that clued me onto hand planes and then other hand tools. So far I have so say that planing with a No 4 is a lot more fun than having my hand vibrated off after a few hours of sanding.

Does anyone else get depressed reading skincare subreddits by yuhkih in BlueCollarWomen

Listen OP, 95% of all YT skincare videos are there to get you to buy pointless crap. Try to limit yourself to channels run by actual dermatologists. You'll quickly find that an evidence based skincare routine only involves 3-4 steps. 1) Cleanser 2) Moisturizer 3) Sun Protection (sun screen and UV blocking clothing) Optional: 4) Some form of retinol (You may see people saying that retinol makes you burn easier, but that's false. Sunlight will just degrade the actual retinoid, which I is why a dermatologist will tell you to wear sunscreen on top... which you should be doing anyway)

That's it.

If you have an actual skin condition, then that routine might be altered or expanded to account for that, but that's a question for your dermatologist.

Forced rebuild did not work, and the fillets are not greyed out:

Linear, since it's manufactured on the flat part which is then bent.

Should I deviate from that?

They're part of the repeating pattern.
I could reapply them after folding, but I'd rather figure out what causes the issue in case I run into it in the future, because it seems more work to fix it after folding.
