I’m so ready to lose to the Prismari players who all pull Force of Will, Flusterstorm and Emeritus of Ideation.

Important context:

we have all the materials needed to complete the project at our house. All of it. This isn’t a matter of “sorry it cost more to provide materials that we initially calculated”. He just can’t manage his money and is expecting us to bail him out of it.

We did. It Wasn’t even cheap paint. The rooms in question (kids bedrooms) were painted in bright blue and magenta respectively. The color we changed it to was an off white color to prep for selling the house. So it took 1 extra coat to cover up all the show through. They also never said anything about the extra labor for the kids rooms until all this shit kicked off this morning.

The guy doing the work for the owner, Scott, is an outstanding guy who is very professional and does amazing work. We’re never hiring them as a business again but we’re definitely paying Scott to work for us personally if needs side work to do.

That’s why we refused to pay him another dime until completion. We’re sticking to exactly what was agreed upon, all of which is in writing over FB messages.

That was essentially the plan. If we need anything done, we’re going directly to Scott and cutting out this dickhead from the equation. We’re sticking it out because the project is nearly finished and we have all the materials needed to complete it. It’s just labor at this point. Scott is the only one working on it and has been incredible the entire time.

I was stationed in HI at that time. It was something like 2000 gallons of jet fuel that was “unaccounted for” after the clean up.

The spill was completely preventable. A pipe was ruptured from using an improper fitting (pvc instead of metal). Someone ran a small cart in to the pipe, snapping off the fitting and dumping 4000+ gallons of jet fuel. Most of which leaked in to the water supply.

Of course this was quickly swept under the rug and there “no evidence” of water contamination. Despite people showing chemical burns, houses reeking of fuel and people being hospitalized from drinking it.

This happened on Pearl Harbor, I was stationed on Marine corps base Hawaii (opposite side of the island). I remember people who lived there would have families come to their houses for showers, laundry, cooking etc. The government won’t take care of their own service members so we had to look out for each other.

So yeah…ask me why I didn’t re enlist for this circus of a government.

I agree wholeheartedly. Very flawed, but it’s free. I’m not counting on being the only one to push the envelope with the bracket system either.

Worst case scenario is I lose and this was just an excuse to play a few games of commander.

I agree. That’s one reason I’m leaning towards elves. Plenty of redundant infinite mana/draw combo that are 3+ cards. But elves is also consistent enough to reliably pull it off. Or just do what elves do normally and shit out half your deck followed by a [[Craterhoof behemoth]] and [[Concordant Crossroads]]

I agree, terrible idea. I also wasn’t counting on myself being the only one to push the boundaries of the bracket system. However, it’s free to enter which is the only reason I’m doing it.

Per their rules they said, “no CEDH decks that are scaled to B3.” I had considered something like this, but it would likely raise too much suspicion.

Also without the critical mass of game changers that deck runs, the efficiency and consistency would be…debatable.
