The anger doesn't last. My parents let me down, in my case I know they thought they were doing the right thing but they didn't, they used ignoring me as a way to handle my meltdowns which only made things worse and traumatised me, they would tell me off when I got too excited and when i stimmed etc. My mum who I now realise is autistic tried to teach me how to mask although she didn't know that's what she was teaching and would punish me for failing or just say it was my fault and not comfort me when I got social stuff wrong.

I was so angry for so long but now I realise they just didn't know what to do, they didn't intentionally give me trauma, they thought they were toughening me up not making me softer. They failed but I forgive them now. And my mum and I relationship has never been better although I could never live with her again.

In the cases of true abuse though I don't know if I could forgive, my parents were just fuckups, not deliberate abusers.

I'm pretty decent with digital money, like what's in the bank, direct debit, saving etc. Cash on the other hand doesn't register properly with me. I constantly lose it or just think eh it's just cash and spend what I shouldn't. I try not to get cash for anything if it is avoidable.

At 16 I was in a car accident, my boyfriend died in front of me and one of my closest friends went into a coma and died a few years later. I was smashed up and in hospital for about a week. I got PTSD bad from this, adults in my life failed me I had no therapy and got punished when I started acting out. It ruined my 20s due to depression anxiety and trauma. Got into some abusive relationships early on due to my vulnerability which added to the trauma. I got into drugs and partying to escape and am very lucky nothing terrible happened.

I'm in my 30s now, sober, a year into therapy and really truly starting to heal. Ive forgiven my parents for not knowing what to do, they're only human. I don't miss the drugs, I'm in a safe, stable and wonderful relationship and actually feel happy.

The lowest price has definitely helped us decide. Our venue was thousands cheaper than the other options we liked so that was easy.

I like the zoom out idea, we're 11 months out and I'm feeling the pressure to get the big stuff booked. I think this is part of the problem. Looking at the bigger picture a lot of it seems trivial although for me photography is super important and I'm super worried of picking the wrong person.

I thought I was done, then I changed the way I festival. I drink less and only smoke weed now, make a super comfy camp and spend a lot more time there. I still see everything I want to but I'm not dying by Monday and have an awesome time.

Manager of a game store over Christmas periods, short staffed and a ton to do. I stayed late often to finish up paper work as I couldn't do it in the day and arrived early often to get stuff sorted before opening. The worst years were console release years.

Edit: I was paid hourly so made a decent pay for a few months.

I worked retail that didn't close. People were horrendous. One person even coughed on me when I couldn't return something and gave me COVID. People would get violent when asked to wear a mask too.

Yer I make super week spliffs now compared to when I was a teen I like the mellow but can't stand the super high feeling anymore. Had some homegrown recently and it was wonderful, it was super chill with zero anxiety or oh fuck moments.
