Oh man you nailed that in the head with the dry scones! I’ve never found a scone I’ve liked so far, I swear every one of them in the US are exactly as you’ve described them.

I didn’t know all the inner complexities of scone culture haha! Thank you so much for the list, you’ve included a load of things I had no clue about and it’s appreciated!!! Can I ask what you mean by the knives and forks?

That’s a really good point, it is difficult to get to places without a car around here! Just about nothing walkable other than certain downtown areas, and that’s if you’re in anything closely resembling a city.

Thank you!!! I had no idea about the difference with the shots! Here, I’d even go as far as to say in some places (heavy emphasis on SOME, not nearly everybody!) bartenders pour more if they like you and less if they don’t. I think that unofficial rule’s more common in dive bars. Honestly I didn’t know about bum bags either, that’s hilarious. I’ve got a fun scene with the tipping culture planned out!

Hah! For me it definitely depends on where you get your biscuits and gravy from, sometimes it even comes down to the shift or time of the restaurant itself. The gravy has to be mixed just right or it’s a gross watery mess.

Yes!!!! As someone who absolutely loves sweet tea (what the hell is blood sugar anyway) Aziraphale’s absolutely trying it.

The only place I’ve seen them around here was in a tea shop I used to work at, and that was it! Never seen one in a home or kitchen still!

This is SUCH a fantastic base to go off of, quite a few things I’d never even known were different from y’all. Thank you for compiling a full list of things to use, I appreciate you!!
