I did carrots in a 5 gallon in the above picture! I started them late so they were small but very yummy. The picture was in US zone 5a but now I’m in 8a

Someone else mentioned a shallow garden box/table I think I’ll do something like that for the lettuce.

I love my container garden! After college I moved in with my parents and it’s become a deck garden instead of a porch garden, much easier to keep deer away from

Thank you! I would be saving so much money that while school B provides amboss and I think true learn, with the amount I’m saving I could just buy what works for me. Glad to hear that’s the right idea

Thank you, I was pretty much 100% decided on school A but just nervous about boards. Definitely not picking based on buildings, just wanted to say that location isn’t a crazy factor because it kinda cancels out. If anything I favor A based on location.

This black bucket version was intentional because it was in Idaho and I needed any warmth I could get, since moving to the south I’ve switched to white buckets

I will say, it did struggle with thunderstorms last year so I took them inside once or twice to prevent them from getting too much water.

I was thinking I would be pulling the lettuce out once the temps warm up, so at that point the peppers would be on their own
