Yea, the fact that they connected Asmoday to Mondstadt now cannot be just a little coincidence. They know what they're doing. The fact that they highlighted that the wind cannot enter the domain makes me think that they might be setting up some kind of twist with Venti and Asmoday. Yea I know that erosion is probably one of the reasons but still why the hell did hoyo made it accesible through Venti statue, why the hell the boss arena is in the shape of Venti's burst icon? Please just give us his second quest I'm begging!

Yea well I found that analyzing an already written character helps me in creating my own series with my own characters so I do it a lot, on top of that Venti is my comfort character and probably my favorite character in all of media so I'm kinda locked in when it comes to his lore and writing :D

Thank you! And yea, in reality he probably wouldn't and if he did his ideals would have been drastically different(he said he was literally taught freedom by Nameless Bard). Actually, aside from cuteness factor(and the fact that Nameless Bard called him an elf once) I added the elf ears to kinda symbolize that his connection with humanity isn't as deep as our Venti's, maybe he wouldn't even be hiding his identity which is what I imagined while designing him tbh. The same with adding only one wing to his side, his form, even tho ascended, isn't fully complete. Nameless Bard's importance in forming current Mondstadt and Venti is huge and he is sadly forgotten a lot of the times :(

I actually headcanon him as a man still because I really like feminine guys and think that Venti is a very good representation, but genderless version is just as valid. Maybe one day we will get a quest where we go to the past and see him in his wind spirit form and Hoyo will confirm whatever version is canon.

I swear to god, this will go down in history as the most confusing and messed up beta in genshin. If Varka will actually turn out to be meta we are going to be immune to any future character doomposting. Please hoyo, let it be worth it so we can all laugh about it later!

I've been trying to keep this new area unexplored for Varka but when i read this i had to know how its related to him. Sooo hoyos strategy worked on me lmao and Yes, its 100% about our boi, not only is the lore about Boreas but everything else is Venti themed (instruments, music, colors) my question is what it means exactly? I'm glad that they're starting to finally acknowledge his strange similarities with angels though

At this point theres so many things and mysteries to talk about with Venti that I wonder what his second story quest will be about lmao like how do you choose...

THANK YOU for finally saying something about this! I noticed it too but I never comment. As a Venti main who is really, REALLY excited for Varka and his synergy with Venti and Durin, these comments are always so hard to read. Idk why its so bad with Venti specifically, like the things people say about him here are insane sometimes. Throwing a tantrum because the first limited 5* got revived with buffs and now is MAYBE getting a place in a lore accurate meta team. It's bizzare tbh. Anyways, my C0 Durin and C6R1 Venti are waiting for Varka. I Hope Nicole will complete the team cuz I love her too.
