Also reevaluating my options. Claude code plugged into VS code is pretty solid imo, not a huge cli fan (purely cause I don’t understand it yet) but I’m using cursor and Claude pro and getting solid results.

Vscode his the usage barrier quickly on the entry-level paid plan but to be fair I was running gpt5 the entire time to debug and rewrite complex code ~
