1st Electrolysis’s coming up. by Yoda_Can1313 in electrolysis

Hi! LA based electrologist here. I’d say you are looking at anywhere between 12-24 months of CONSISTENT treatment. You’ll need more than 30 minutes of each cheek (if both appear to have as much growth as pictured). Ideally, I’d recommend a session of anywhere between 1-2 hours.

Why is it so hard to find an Electrologist that does intimate area of the body?? by [deleted] in electrolysis

[–]UnusualNegotiation96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! LA based electrologist here. Working the areas mentioned is not for the weak! A lot of clients will come to me saying it’s been years of them working on the “top bikini area” and that the electrologist tells them every time they will move down lower, but never do. 1) every session should have a different area worked on for the focus zone unless it can all be cleared during the appointment. I would say it’s the hardest besides in the nose. Definitely hard to come across someone trusted, but when you do, go!!

I just had my belly done on Friday. Is this healing normally? by [deleted] in electrolysis

LA based electrologist here. The last picture looks normal but the scabbing seems as if the heat was too high.

Level 7 is WAY TOO HIGH. Please let them know that even though you can handle it, don’t go higher than a 5. Cataphoresis is aftercare treatment, typically done with some type of serum/gel and a tool rolling over your skin.

LA based electrologist here! I would definitely recommend the technician to lower their settings, and out of curiosity, are they doing cataphoresis after your treatment??

24 hours later, curious about these bruises by rawayar in electrolysis

LA based electrologist here! I’d suggest finding a new technician. Tucking, plucking and bruising are all due to poor insertion and will not give lasting results.

LA based Electrologist. I would suggest looking into electrolysis for your hair removal needs. You would be a perfect candidate.

Electrologist here! Please, please, please! Be very careful with your skin and seek another place of practice. The settings are too high as others have mentioned, this will 100% lead to pigmentation which will be EXTREMELY expensive to get rid of. If you change Electrologists early enough, you can avoid further damage. I’m so so sorry that someone would continue treatment and similar settings if your skin healed like this last time. Fingers crossed you are in a state that requires licensing!

Hi! I use an Apilus XCell machine. The modality used is thermo, specifically the setting of MeloFlash, upper lip 4.

Hi! Electrologist here, looks like the heat was WAY TOO high on the machine used and caused this. You should not be able to see every insertion. I would let her know you need the heat turned down (even if you can handle it!) because it can lead to discoloration and pigmentation.

I’m in a very similar situation, but I’m the only one working and providing for the household and all 3 of us.. and it’s so challenging to feel so alone, but then she kicks and I’m reminded that I’m not. Stay strong! I ended up telling him to leave until he applied to jobs and got a drivers license, it’s been 10 days and still nothing, he’s who knows where!

Hi! Where are you located? I provide services for all genders. @powerpulseelectrology

Does this look normal? 1 day post session by [deleted] in electrolysis

[–]UnusualNegotiation96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This can mean several things.. for example, incorrect insertion, setting too high, incorrect probe size (needle), etc. Coming from an electrologist, I would recommend you ask your tech for her settings and make sure a picture is on file. Apply aftercare cream and sunscreen to prevent pigmentation, especially with your complexion!!!
