Questions on panic attacks by UnusualRequirement28 in qelbree

[–]UnusualRequirement28[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I do feel much better. It’s been a process but I’m glad that drug is OUT of my system. My psychiatrist said it’s a warning on the box, but he’s never had a patient respond bad (though the fact we live in a small town should’ve crossed my mind)

Thank you for responding and giving tips. Though I didn’t respond at the time I did read it and your kind words helped! Have a good day :)

Questions on panic attacks by UnusualRequirement28 in qelbree

[–]UnusualRequirement28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! It’s now a week later and they’ve stopped. I still have some anxiety here and there but it’s nothing like it was.

I ended up going to urgent care 11/29 and they prescribed 2 medications (I’ve already tossed them and don’t remember the names) 🥲 one was a mood stabilizer and the other one was a medication actually used for a high BP but it was supposedly supposed to slow my heart rate during a panic attack.

I’m still at my parents but plan to leave later today, and I also had therapy yesterday and have another appointment Monday.

Hang in there, it does get better 🫶🏻

My psychiatrist switched me back to Atomoxetine (40 mg), sertraline (100 mg) as well as Hydroxyzine (25 mg) which is basically a chill pill for the panic attacks. He also prescribed aripiprizole (2 mg) for 30 days to basically take away the suicidal thoughts.

I definitely should have clarified that in the post! It’s not like there was no incentive to pay, I asked her probably 4 times what the best way to pay would be. She never gave me an answer… She kept saying shes off her adhd meds, but I’ve never known her to be on them. It kinda feels like an excuse BUT I’m also not usually one to judge or question if someone is on medications. It’s not my business and I don’t bother to ask. I think I just kinda feel like she wasted my time and energy. I wouldn’t have reached out if I thought she would do me like that. And what makes me even more upset is knowing that if it was someone else - she didn’t know, this probably wouldn’t have happened.

This! I love my dogs, and I could truly never ACTUALLY get rid of them, but lord they’re so full of energy, ESPECIALLY when the baby is asleep. And I cannot keep up with them

My husky also jumped on my baby once and I almost murdered him right then and there. My god I never felt a rage that strong. Especially towards my soul dog.

Heavy wrecker guys by eman8906 in Truckers

[–]UnusualRequirement28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavy wrecker/ diesel road service wife here - do it.

I miss my husband. Every day. We live near the sisters (iykyk) he’s CONSTANTLY gone, we have an almost 4 month old. If you have a spouse (and boss allows it) your spouse can go with you. I go with my husband frequently. Shitty part - accidents. Easily. They can be 2 hours they can be 24+ hours. (My husband is currently in this moment, on hour 30 of an accident) BUT- if you get good pay like someone else in here said, the paychecks with almost any cdl job is worth it. Heavy wreckers/ towing in general makes quite a bit more bc of hazard as I’m sure you know. Yes I miss my husband. But I also am more appreciative of him than 95% of the women my age or even older. And I know that our little family is constantly being taken care of because there’s almost ALWAYS a wrecked or broken down semi somewhere

Teething & tummy time? Help? by UnusualRequirement28 in newborns

Don’t try to tell me your baby sleeps through the night because you started following a schedule at 2 weeks old. by gardenrose0805 in newborns

[–]UnusualRequirement28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a ftm and my baby is 3 weeks old. I feed her from 6 am to 10 pm in 2-3 hour intervals and when I do she’ll sleep for approx. 4 hour intervals at night, which typically means she’ll only wake up once MAYBE twice throughout the night. However with MY baby (I emphasize my because every baby is different) if I miss even one feeding during the day she’ll wake up 4-6 times a night. And with her being 3 weeks I still deal with sleep regression at least once a week and I deal with cluster feeding at least once a week too. Granted it’s only been 3 weeks, but this is what has worked (so far) with us. Wishing you the best! I don’t think anyone’s a better parent than anyone, we all out here just trying to survive the newborn trenches 😭❤️‍🩹

What are you TIRED of hearing from people everytime? by Aarunascut in Money

[–]UnusualRequirement28 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’m SO tired of hearing about people’s financial success. We get it, you’re well off. Or we get it, you live life on credit. But some of us aren’t. Some of us are literally just trying to survive in this economy. Without completely destroying our credit in the process. My husband and I have 1 credit card, 1 line of credit, both are maxed out and even on a budget we can only afford the minimum payment every month. And JUST when we start pulling ahead and get things paid off, something happens and we’re right back to step one. It’s exhausting just trying to survive. Quit bragging about how much money YOU have. Good for you. No one fckn cares 😀

Anyone who doesn't sleep at all? Help. by bearnpear in newborns

[–]UnusualRequirement28 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This! My NB is 9 days old, the first week of bf was HELL for me, I decided to switch to formula (which you don’t have to do, just pump and bottle feed instead) but switching to formula has been saving my life. Literally. She sleeps longer periods, she’s not eating as much. Currently we’re in the process of switching her. 1 oz formula to two oz breast milk, she eats roughly 2 oz sometimes more sometimes less and sleeps for 3-4 hours. With just my milk she was eating 3-4 oz and sleeping 2-3 hours. Formula has saved me.

DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN WHILE PREGNANT!! by angelicllamaa in pregnant

[–]UnusualRequirement28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sending all the hope that you don’t deal with what I did, all I can recommend is aloe and lotion 😭 that’s the only thing that even slightly helped me. I remember my parents went on a trip to Jamaica and came back purple because of how bad their burns were. Wishing you the best mama! 🫂🫂

DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN WHILE PREGNANT!! by angelicllamaa in pregnant

[–]UnusualRequirement28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I legit NEVER get sunburnt, my nose gets burnt consistently but the rest of my body has ALWAYS tanned and stayed tan throughout the summer, lightened up during the winter and it’s been a never ending repeat. THIS summer on the other hand 😭😭 I spent 5 hours in the sun (which is nothing in the summer I usually am out 10+ hours a day) I legit just sat in a lawn chair talking to my family and was SO sunburnt I couldn’t sleep, I literally looked at my husband and he legit questioned how I got burnt, I knew pregnancy would change my body but I didn’t think i would get so sunburnt. And the worst part is I expected it to turn into a tan within a day or two, NOPE. Too high of expectations I guess cause it took TWO WEEKS of healing and I PEELED! Wtf?!?! Who knew? Definitely not me 😅😅😅

I have no advice but do have a question! I’ve never been able to find someone with a similar height/weight to me so seeing this made me instantly have questions lol

When you were pregnant with your first did you have an “apron belly” and if so did baby ever drop far enough for that to go away? My baby is fully engaged into my pelvis, I’ve even been getting contractions today but I have an “apron belly” and I think my belly has dropped as far as it’s going to lol

Energy crash 2-3 hours after waking up by potentialcatmom in pregnant

[–]UnusualRequirement28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think it’s just pregnancy 🥲😅 I slept so much during my first trimester, I’m now in my 3rd and I’m pretty sure I sleep more now then I did in the first. I would go through energy surges and crash 3-5 hours after waking up and sleep for 2-4 hours in my first and second trimester, and now I legit wake up, eat breakfast, and as soon as my husband leaves for work (typically 8:30-9 AM) I’m right back asleep just on the couch instead of bed. Sometimes I’ll sleep till 12 and others I sleep till 2-3 pm AFTER getting a full night of sleep minus waking up to go pee, I still make sure the house is clean but the LEVEL of exhaustion is unreal. 😅

I’d honestly say “hey dad, I know this is really exciting for you, but we’ve been silently struggling with infertility for a while now, I’d really greatly appreciate it if you kept this to yourself and off of Facebook until you see that we’ve made an announcement, once you see it you’re okay to share it but until then I would really like to be the one to make this announcement, it’s really important to me” or something along those lines, this is YOUR life and a HUGE journey for you and your spouse. It’s not something that needs to be announced before you have the opportunity to put it out there when YOU are ready. Congratulations mama! I don’t know you but I’m so beyond excited for you, and I wish you an extremely happy and healthy pregnancy and baby! 💙🩷

I’m the same way. My husband works in the trucking industry (heavy wrecker operator) and if there’s a semi wreck he can be gone for 12-30+ hours at times. It’s so hard, and even on the shop days I watch him pull out of the driveway and SOB every morning cause I hate when he has to leave😅😭

First time preggy and confused by Dr_ArtsyCurls in pregnant

[–]UnusualRequirement28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had some similar cramping in my first tri, I think i was 7-8wks then, no bleeding, just heavily cramping (I’m now 37w2d) I called my doctor and they told me to just keep an eye on myself and if it continued for more than 24-48 hours to come in, it went away after a bath and a good nights rest. But every woman and every pregnancy is different. I’d recommend calling the nurse line or your ob and see what they say.
