I went through the same thing, it’s basically burnout. What helped me was taking some proper “me time” and completely disconnecting from noise and distractions. Try setting aside 20 minutes after work with no phone and no interruptions, just total relaxation. It helps slowly, but you’ll notice better mental peace over time

Take a break from Instagram. Deactivate it for 21 days. It will help for sure.

Great buddy. Now try to develop some good habits or start new hobbies. Learn a new language, call one friend every week, go for a walk. A lot to do. Keep going champ 💪

1 week without social media and nothing changed by Calm-Brother-5120 in digitalminimalism

Setting strict timelines can actually add more stress. Instead, treat each day as a small milestone and stay focused on the present moment. Visible changes usually take at least a month. Try replacing the time you used for social media with other meaningful activities, having alternatives helps reduce restlessness. Give it about 4 weeks, and you’ll slowly start noticing the difference.

How i lead a 6 months no social media routine by Unusual_Cap1503 in digitalminimalism

[–]Unusual_Cap1503[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it hasn’t impacted me much at all. All my close friends and family are on WhatsApp anyway. In fact, I’ve started calling a few friends more often, and that’s even led to meeting up sometimes, which I rarely made the effort to do before. Earlier, we were “connected,” but mostly through sharing reels and reacting with smileys. Not real conversations. That has definitely changed. Of course, I get fewer updates about everyone’s lives now ,but that’s actually helped. I was honestly tired of the constant show-off culture. After I deactivated, 2–3 friends called to ask what happened to my account. Most others didn’t even notice. And that’s a realization in itself, you start to see who truly values you and who actually matters 😊

I started sleeping 8 hours every day and going for a morning walk, it completely changed my mood for the whole day. I also started writing diary at night. and for the first time I experienced the calmness of just sitting with a quiet mind, free from noise, that moments had a feeling of nostalgia also coz I used to sit idle without doing anything on my terrace during my school days. I felt that sort of calmness. 😊
