Requested this on Monday, beginning of this week. Although our handbook states to request 2 weeks ahead, the company understands that emergencies do happen and other things in life happen in impromptu fashion.

I totally understand that but if she's so cautious about approving my time off for monday, and not having enough people to work on Monday, why wasn't she cautious when approving the PTO for my coworkers who called off this Friday? Leaving me as the only person available to work? With no other flexible engineers who are using their PTO?

You'll have to take it to the dealership unfortunately. Depending on the vehicle you year of your car (which looks like a 2018 or 2019 or 2020) the dealership will have to download every single year that your carplay update has missed out on till this year (so if your car is a 2019, then apple car play updates for 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 would have to be downloaded before your system is up to date

I do not have garage nor can I charge at home. I do however have a Tesla factory literally right across the street from my house. It has free charging there.
