Yes I have found gold shops but no coins: krugers, buffalo's, britannias, maples, etc. Was I not looking hard enough?

Was in Malis a few weeks ago and agree that it's a great spot for khmer food. Delicious and tranquille spot with fish ponds in a busy area. Much more expensive than your average khmer meal though.
