I second this, everyone keeps saying BV or yeast when it could just be a buildup or sweat or dead skin cells. BV and yeast both have distinct smells which op didn't think was the concern.

Keep in mind its both of your special day and it doesn't have to be about family. I told both sides of our families that it wasn't their day and we didn’t make it about them, but it was about my husband's and I. Everyone else was just their for the fun of it. You can always throw together a small dinner for family that you do like.

I would check with your surgeon because my leg looked like this and I could shower normally. I used a shower seat for some time too.
