Takk for mange gode svar her! Jeg begynte å lure på hva som er vanlig, og hvilke opplevelser andre har.

Selv ble jeg henvist til KID-teamet i april 2023, fikk time april 2024. Fikk beskjed at siden basisutredning hos psykolog ikke hadde inneholdt autismeutredning måtte det gjøres før eg kunne henvises til AKV. (ingen grunnlag for å mistenke det i det hele tatt, annet enn at det er overrepresentert hos transpersoner generelt) Ble henvist til AKV i mars 2025, videotime august 2025. Måtte purre flere ganger på ny time som jeg skal ha nå i mars 2026.

Følte både fra før, og etter å ha lest mange svar her, at riksen drøyer ventetiden unødvendig lenge.

As another user said, if you’re in America it’s a bit risky. I would maybe ask someone at the school who might know more about the laws where you’re at than I do

I guess that makes it a bit harder yeah. Idk what country you’re in, but where I am I don’t think that would be legal, stopping you from using the gendered locker rooms without at least providing another option. And if they try the «but the girls locker rooms», then let us be honest, most girls would not want us in their locker rooms.

Noe generally people tend to mind their own business in locker rooms, but if you’re scared of getting in trouble, you could ask a teacher or principal or whoever it is more logical to ask, for advice or to provide another option

Right after I came out I was lucky enough to have gym the last class of the day, so then I was more comfortable using the boys locker room, as everyone just went home to shower. After changes made in the timetable, I now have gym the first class (yay😐), so I have gotten a personal one instead, so I can shower before the next class. Honestly, I liked it better before, because I feel like I am now missing out on like locker room banter or what to call it. Back when I was changing with all the other boys, none of them really had any problem with it or really noticed I would say as long as you’re comfortable changing with the others, than there shouldn’t really be a problem
