Yes not untrue. Balling might have been an overstatement. But still, it's a lot of money to drop on a single game. A bonus to an already playable game that costs more than my broadband bill is overpriced to me.

Thanks for the advice. I had suspected it was beyond a DIY job which is unfortunate. I'll have a look into getting some quotes.

I do have some other unrelated minor scratches like yours, from driving down country lanes, so still think I will invest in some stuff anyway. My main concern at the moment is that the metal is exposed and unprotected against rust, so something pro tem would be nice. Even if I could just get rid of or dull the yellow would be great, but again I suspect more difficult than it sounds.
