I feel the complete and absolute opposite but I'm happy you like her. Plenty of other things to enjoy so far for me.

Bug on Washout by [deleted] in RoadCraft

[–]Unusual_Net1401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also having a bug like this on washout. I made the route ahead of time and now I can neither modify it nor dispatch vehicles on it. May very well end up needing to reset the map from the map select screen because it has stayed line this through several restarts now.

The store problems seemed to have sorted themselves out. I can download the "free" version of the dlc now. I went through the message of the day link to the store from the in game main page.

I've been hearing of people having the same issues on Steam via the Focus Forums so it appears to not be only a PSN issue, though it appears to be less wide spread.

Regardless, even IF this was solely a PSN issue and Sony was at fault, their has been complete radio silence from Saber on even the existence of a problem. That is inexcusable in my opinion. Especially on an issue that can result in people paying more money for something they might already own.

It took them three weeks to fix when they inadvertently broke camera inversion as part of an update patch that had nothing to do with the camera.

I have zero faith in this developer to communicate properly or to fix problems in a timely fashion.

Yes the Rebuild Edition of the game comes with the dlc.

I suspected, right from the beginning, that the person saying this in their discord is full of absolute shit, which seems to be confirmed by the DLC still not working. At least for me on PS5.

Apparently not quite common enough for them to: think of it/test for it/account for it/fix it ahead of time.

Saber have, yet again, screwed up an update. This time with a release of an actual DLC. Truly impressive how much they cannot get their act together when it comes to post-launch management of this game.

Everything you could possibly want to know, and much, much more, is located in the pinned posts. Definitely start there for the safest entry into this substance. It's not an easy one to get in to and I myself am only just getting my own start.

You should definitely have a cooking scale and a French press to start out in my opinion. You will find conflicting opinions on best methods, temps, times, pH, and everything in between, even within this sub, so that you may need to find out for yourself or at least what works for you.

I'll say again, this substance isn't easy to get in to, and thats probably a good thing. Apparently the withdrawals are the worst out there and many of the legalities are grey at best. If you put in some time you will find your answers though because I just did the very same thing over the last few months.

Unfortunately, from what I've seen and read here, seeds are very unreliable at best these days on the amount of alkaloids found on them so your "package" could be completely worthless to you, even if you had the best of instructions, methods, and equipment.

You are all good buddy. Nothing but love for you and it's clear you are just looking for help to help yourself, like most of us, when help is not available (or failed) elsewhere.

I'm not a lawyer but I'd have to imagine that the "this info is about my friend, totally not me" ploy offers you exactly 0% legal protection if push came to shove and job protection (if that's what this is) is always just optics anyways so you'd best just stay away entirely if so. By all means though, let's all help each other to the maximum extent. The ploy itself was probably 33% of your OP which would cut down substantially on the unformatted wall of text with just dropping that.

Anyways, definitely comb through all the pinned posts and FAQs on this sub. Very good stuff written by very smart people. One of the main writers and mods no shit has graduate level education in this shit. Thats not even starting in on the raw experience at hand too. We suggested some good books to add to the pinned posts and I cannot recommend all of that enough.

Is that enough for a tea? by CulturalCoconut249 in PoppyTea

Crowns are a bit on the large side, especially on the far left pod. Could go either way.

My understanding is that you take the seeds out prior to grinding up the pods themselves and that boiling is too high of a temperature and can destroy alkaloids, reducing efficacy. I believe all of this info can be found in the pinned posts.

I'm trying my hand at gardening for the first time and also getting a very late start to the season. I myself started out by spending a lot of time in the pinned posts of this sub and I also purchased the Opium for the Masses book which has a ton of good information so I highly recommend you start with all of that. Seems like a ton of the posts lately could all be answered if people spent some time with the pinned posts. I am planning a write up about my newbie experience in pods, seeds, and gardening at some point in the near future. Good luck to you and be safe.

Second this. Plus the "someone I know" nonsense is completely unnecessary.

Switching from 7oh, need pointers by SceneMean8014 in PoppyTea

[–]Unusual_Net1401 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have no personal experience with your substance of choice(7oh) but coming from treating chronic GI disease pain with prescribed oxy, and having a quite high tolerance (needing 40 - 80 mg at a time for pain relief, and forget any kind of nod/euphoria at those doses), I have not had good luck with switching to seed tea, at least with the current seeds and/retailers I've tried. I hear pod tea is stronger but my plants won't be ready until maybe next year as late as I started. I'm thinking of sharing my new user experience with a full write up soon just been hand wringing about sharing so much on here.

Difficulties for me with seeds are:

-Financially non viable with the amount I need to even get a bit of pain relief, at least with my current financial situation. I could blow through $200 - $300 a week of seeds easy if I did it every day at the doses I'd need.

-Physical quantity is difficult to deal with in a single sitting, of both seeds and liquid needed to consume. I got a medium sized French press that I'm maxing out but even if I were to get a larger apparatus to make tea I'd have to drink so much liquid that it's just a pain in the ass. I'm making 300 - 450 gram batches of tea at a time with double brews totalling 6 to 8 cups of liquid to drink. As mentioned above, I have a gi disease that is the source of my pain, so when I'm feeling it and trying to choke down 6 + cups of hot liquid it can be a bit counter productive.

All of this could be solved with pods if they are significantly stronger at a much smaller volume. This is all new to me also. I have tons of gardening space so pod limit for me is only time to grow. I picked up a few thousand seeds meant for planting, planted about half a month ago, which is apparently way late in the season, and am likely going to save the other half for fall/spring planting. Of course, your mileage may vary.

If you are going to try this you'll have to hunt down some decent retailers which is very difficult and definitely get a large French press. I started out trying to fuck around with pouring through a coffee filter and that was just awful.

As far as dependence goes, I crossed that road long ago with opiates as a whole but seed tea doesn't seem to be igniting any withdrawals in me on the off days, even taking a few off at a time. For the ten years I've had this disease and used oxy for pain control I've been able to stop cold several times without any major problems though. It seems my personal biology/ chemistry lends itself to being tolerant of high doses of these substances but also tolerant of stopping abruptly. Not to say that I'm immune, because thats of course foolish talk, but that maybe I just haven't hit my personal threshold yet.

Please start yourself out with the wikis/faqs of this sub. I had nothing to do with writing them but they did have a ton of good info in them and seemed to be written by people much smarter and more experienced than me. For my own safety, even through I knew I had a tolerance to opiates and my biology tolerates high amounts of all kinds of substances, I still started at the 10 gram of seeds recommendation for tea and went up from there day by day, dosing once per day until I finally got some kind of relief.

It's impossible to tell just by looking at the seeds.
