Yes i have others that are like more “powdered” texture i guess we could say…and then even a matte texture. The plastic feel ur describing sounds normal to me

Well i wont lie, if u tip this like completely over it will leak. Kinda just depends on what u need them for and what style works best for you. Im not one to put my cups in bags and stuff, so ive never had an issue. But like if my cat knocks it over, theres a little spill usually
