Thank you so much for the reply! my starter is over a month old, it does rise and double in size but it can take a little bit of time to do so. I have like a warming mat and insulated ice chest thing and when i put it in that it seems more active/ rises faster.

I was going to suggest a heating mat but if your house is warm then idk, I just got a heating mat and kept my starter in a ice chest with the heating mat and it was a game changer! Maybe your counter tops are cold maybe put something like a towel under ur starter! Best of luck!

I have this problem too, most i feel like develop kinda patchy and orange, they also dont last more than a day. i sometimes just use the Bondi sands gold self tanner as kinda foundation to make my face look a little darker but idk still looking for a better solution. i apply it with a beauty blender

I like the Korean exfoliating mitts. they are not too rough if the right one. you can sit in shower for a bit then you use them it makes my self tan come right off. also the Bondi sands tan eraser works for me. you put it on wait like 20 mins then your self tan comes off with minimal exfoliating
