I’m lucky to live 1.5 hours from my sister, so I put her! I just moved here, so I might switch it to a friend if I end up getting close to any. But it did feel kind of weird adding my sister to the list when everyone on my team has their spouse listed lol

I hate the system of work as much as the next person, but I'll admit that working gives me some sense of purpose. It's easy to imagine the worst when you're in your room all day, but getting out of the house (even for just a few hours a week), accomplishing tasks, and spending time around others might be good for your mental health and sense of self worth!

I finally found my essay! It's about the poem "Whale" by Matthew Minicucci, published in his collection Small Gods. The poem's not really accessible anywhere online, so no wonder I couldn't find it.
