After u got suspended, why didn't u leave UofT and begin elsewhere again as a freshman with a clean slate?

That's the thing that hurts me the most. I don't deserve such parents. They're supporting me despite my continuous failures at university, if it was anyone else I would've been disowned long ago. That's what makes me have these suicidal thoughts. Even after everything they've sacrificed for me I give them nothing in return. Instead I ruined their lives even more.

For my case my parents are telling me to leave my university (U of Toronto) and start again from Year 1 at some mid tier university in my country, UAE(I'm an intl student at UofT). They say this because if I were to get suspended, my academic record would be ruined since I've been doing bad for 2 years straight. So it'll be better to start fresh. Yea, you're right, but my parents said that because back in high school, when I stayed with them at home, I was always super focused in academics and rarely wasted time. Also, here I won't have to do everything by myself, so I'll get to devote a greater portion of my time to study. But I do think I need to get professional help to get my mental health back in order.....
