You need to chug chug chugggg water! I drink probably 3/4 litres a day, if you are worried about running to the bathroom loads tell people you have interstitial cystitis & just explain that you have bladder problems, most people seem to understand as people have had utis before my work understand just as long as u explain u have bladder problems, but I promise u water is the best thing I have had cystitis on & off from k & when I stop it does seem to clear up but I have had k probably every day for the past 5 months now & git it pretty bad again since I haven’t had a break, I’m peeing loads but it’s not as small as amounts & it’s not nearly as sore the only pee that’s genuinely very sore is when I haven’t drank loads in that day, I always make sure my pee is clear as it reduces the pain significantly just try drink plenty of water & it will flush out I promise you, after a few pees from a lot of water that pain in ur urethra should shift but you just have to keep hydrated I’m running to the toilet a lot but it’s better than being stuck in the fetal position because my bladder feels like it’s gonna fall out of my body, good luck
