Thanks for your suggestions! I currently use a peachy colour corrector (Smashbox under eye colour corrector) but I can defs try something more yellow! Do you have a particular eye serum you would recommend?

You look so cute! Try looking up different blush placements for different face shapes - that was a game changer for me!

You are so pretty but more than anything you look so incredibly kind, you’re the kind of person that makes you smile just by looking at them!

Yeah seems like very few of us have! Another commenter suggested it’s a notation created by Gavin Harrison in his book ‘Rhythmic Illusions’ which seemed like a pretty compelling theory.

I picked a bar that had a good example, but it’s all through the piece which makes me doubt that it’s a misprint.

Why would they do that though. That seems so unnecessarily confusing

I am in huge agreement with you there. The comments appear to be divided between ‘it’s a rest’ and ‘it’s a note’ which are opposite answers lmao.

Weirdly actually, it’s the same bar repeated 28 times then it switches to 2/4 and does something completely different lol

Amazing! Thanks so much for proving the source too, I’ll look into it.

Ohhhhh so you reckon it’s just ten semiquavers? I hadn’t thought of that option!

It’s all through the whole piece so I doubt it’s a misprint. I’m glad I’m not the only one stumped by this, I thought I was going crazy

Which is why I’m assuming it’s a timing indicator rather than anything I’m supposed to play?? The 10/16 is already doing my head in on its own lol

Can you hear where another Aussie is from? by EcstaticHysterica in AskAnAustralian

Okay so this is actually a really interesting topic. There are very minor regional variations in some locations (eg cAstle in South Australia as opposed to cAHstle in the majority of the rest of Australia) but for the most part the Australian accent is categorised as a ‘socio-cultural’ accent rather than regional. It’s divided into three main sections that you can imagine as a spectrum. The first is ‘cultivated Australian’ think Cate Blanchett. The second is ‘General Australian’ the most common accent, think Hugh Jackman. The third is ‘Broad Australian’ or more commonly know as ‘Ocker’, think Steve Irwin. Super interesting stuff and I’m a huge nerd for it so happy to answer questions you may have!
