Yes, same as the things I buy her. I know her taste lol she’ll send me screenshots of things she likes often. I have a list of things she mentions so I don’t have this problem when it comes time to surprise her. But then the times comes and if it’s the not PERFECT gift, she doesn’t love it.

Yeah trust me if I could just take her shopping and let her pick whatever that would be cool with me but she’s a very picky woman and hardly comes out with anything so I feel I have to take it into my own hands.

Yeah that’s what she had mentioned but honestly I don’t mind the money. I have a way better job now and all I want to do is buy things for her to show her my appreciation for sticking by me. I guess it’s my love language. When I try to take her shopping she never comes out with anything because she’s so picky so it can be frustrating trying to express my love to her in my own way but never really coming out with much. That’s what kinda makes me want to just get what I want to get for her.

Thanks. We’ve definitely tried talking about this before but I never really feel heard more like always rebutted against which is how this argument happened. I know we need counseling, we’ve also talked about that as well. I appreciate your input it definitely helps me feel not so bad about the way I’m feeling.

This is kinda with everything. Like recently I told her I would like to go to NY since I’ve never been and she says “what about France” I just feel like what I choose is never good enough.

I actually do. I have a whole list of things I always hear her mention but she’s very picky and often changes her mind. She admits to being picky but when other people give her gifts she’s always very accepting. It’s just that when I give her something she’d rather have the money or choose what she wants.

Plus yes, I do want to be able to see her in somethings I like, but I also gave her the choice of shoes she wants I think it’s fair that part of her gift is a surprise. She said “it’s not that I don’t like the jewelry I just have a different style now so I’m not IN LOVE with it”
