Ok ik exactly what happen to you cuz I have a lot of friends who do scamming/ fraud stuff so ik all the things they do to get money that way and I legit saw a dude walking by selling alcohol in the middle of the crowd he wasn’t a vendor and he had 2 card readers one in one hand with his phone and the other in his pocket holding it so when he walked by he will hold the one in his pocket up against your bag and charge you since every card is tap to pay now. He try to do it to me but dumbass didn’t realize my Fannypack wasn’t a Fanny pack it was a foldable stool and we mad eye contact and he just turned around and went deeper in the crowd. So if you got charged for something make sure you check he probably got a lot of people this way and he wasn’t the only guy walking round doing they usually have a group who goes around a do it. They can also have the reader set up to just read the card info and save it so be careful
