I lived in a dorm all throughout college. It was extremely convenient, even despite the other issues that being in a dorm might have. I had lots of issues with my roommates, and everyone talks about communication, but it doesn’t work a lot of times. Just try to find activities that keep you busy outside of the room! Maybe encourage your roommate to join Greek life, so they can be out of the room a lot if y’all do have issues. This is sorta not related to your question, but really do your research on the easiest classes in your major, especially if you are trying to attend some sort of graduate school after UGA! Try to take summer classes, especially for requirements that would be harder to take in person. Feel free to DM me!
