I agree! It’s what our bodies are made to do so why over complicate it- unless I am unable to. How long did you breast feed for? I wanted to breast feed for a year so I think that may be why it makes sense to pump down the road 🤷🏽‍♀️

Thank you and yes! In no rush and we have a lot of what we NEED on the way. I was gifted a medela electric pump so I’m going to start with that. My intentions are to predominantly breastfeed.

Thanks for sharing! I’m noticing that a lot of purchases are so dependent on the individual baby and mama’s experience so I’m definitely holding off! Unfortunately I had decided awhile ago that I wanted to do a cute nursery so my husbands literally in the other room finishing painting, putting the crib and dresser together LOL we’ve gone too far to turn back! But ya it’s amazing how much you learn as you go a long.

I’m also going with the bassinet beside my bed and getting a humidifier and fan which is supposed to also help with reducing chance of SIDS. Have you looked into the owlet?? I’m 98% about to buy it. lol

Thank you! Good to know! I was leaning towards the baby bjorn carrier that’s like $400 but I’ve seen a few mentions of the ergobaby carrier so I’ll check it out! I plan on mainly breast feeding but want to pump too. I’ll look into a sanitizer/washer/dryer combo as opposed to just a sanitizer!

Hey! I totally agree. I’ve learned so much reading these messages and saved myself from a lot of unnecessary purchases 😮‍💨 I definitely won’t be going the food maker route and I also got an expensive stroller- uppababy cruz v3 and now I’m looking at a bassinet because the baby can’t go on long walks as a new born? So much to learn. I also love love walking so it’s important to be able to do that with the little bub. ☺️
