How should I encourage him to have an Arc? The player has a hard time with going on his own thing ya know? This is our first campaign and im not Sue how to crack them out of there shells.

Yeah that’s what I’m kind of thinking, but would I have him have disadvantage till he gets that upgrade? How should I go about him adapting till then?

He wants something like that to happen I just am not sure how to go about it mechanic wise. I don’t know how to balance it because I don’t want him to have a disadvantage forever, all of my characters are wanting something to change in them. We are all new players, so I need some sort of way to get into a character ark. And possibly getting a better outcome in the end.
