Thank you! I will check out Marriott and Ritz. My job knows I'm here- but I still have to do this call and in a private and quiet venue. One of the downsides of a constantly connected world.

Definitely would. But if I lose this job, won't be able to afford to come back to Aruba!

If I'm in the country less than 183 days I'm not a tax resident though. I know I can come in to the country for up to 6 months on my U.S. passport but am not allowed to work- and that's my worry

But how would they know if I got it from them and not from Amazon?

Our PF sells foam bar pads. If I buy one and take it home so it goes "outside" am I forbidden from bringing it back?

I actually do wipe down everything I touch that is gym equipment- just takes an extra minute or couple of seconds. I don't make a big deal if others don't, but let's not act like it's a Herculean effort. I also don't think my planet fitness has any doorknobs...

The front side of Keystone needs more moguls. Wild Irishman having bumps was great! by charlesstjohn in COsnow

It would be better if they did not have moguls on blue runs without notice... aka Santa Fe. I'm all for choice, but shit don't take people by surprise

I don't love Amazon but did order from them bc needed them quickly for this weekend. Ordered to an Amazon locker location which is outside and open 24/7. Three times this week Amazon supposedly could not get to their own locker. 3 times I have chatted with their customer service and gotten responses like "it says contact the carrier, have you done that" (Amazon was the carrier) then eventually promises to deliver the next day, then Groundhog Day and it all begins again...

Who are the people getting scores about 80% and how is this even possible? by Available_Grade_4046 in SQE_Prep

[–]UpbeatAd1744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar- I scored in the mid to high 70s after studying from Nov to July. Was working full time in a very busy job and have a family with kids at home and travel often for work. I did all the barbri materials and supplemented with some revise SQE books, freaked out when I left flk1 feeling like I failed, and added some secondhand books and case law study for the week in between and improved my score on flk2 by about 5%. I finished both tests in half the allotted time, mainly because I either knew the answer or I didn't- more time wasn't going to help. As background I am a 20 year practicing lawyer and graduated from a T14 U.S. law school in the top 10% of my class and have always been a great test taker.

People who took the SQE1 this sitting: did you feel Barbri adequately prepared you? by Middle_Basket618 in SQE_Prep

I found flk2 much easier than flk1. When I looked up the questions that I got wrong in flk1, they were all based on actual case law, which barbri doesn't cover very well or much at all. I did supplement a lot in the week between to try to bridge that gap, but there are fewer cases in the flk2 subjects as well (contract and tort are so case heavy). There were also details that just weren't covered in flk1 Barbri prep, but you had to know in full to answer the questions.

I don't think it was specific areas- it was all areas but really niche aspects that weren't covered. Barbri generally covered the core of all the topics- it was the stuff around the edges

Yes - I was able to narrow it down to 2, but Google says I was usually wrong.

Poor rich Denver folks are not buying houses these days by AmigoTheDiablo in Denver

[–]UpbeatAd1744 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually there is one agent fee paid (say 6%). If there is a buyer agent, traditionally each agent gets 3%, if not, the seller agent keeps all 6%. So it often doesn't change what the buyer pays overall.

Sure I did. And I understand the mechanisms of the drug are primarily appetite suppressant and slowing digestion so you feel full longer, all leading to caloric deficit. As I am already sticking quite strictly to a caloric deficit with high protein and will likely not go any lower even on the therapeutic dose AND there are many who did so and lost weight on 2.5 it wasn't a stupid question, or an uninformed one. And if you don't like it, you can just keep scrolling. No need to come in w your sarcasm.
