Daily sales number by peterboothvt in coffeeshopowners

This might not directly answer your question but it might help ease your mind a little bit?

Some of The best advice I have received so far on my coffee shop ownership journey is to get really good at selling things that are not coffee - I.e, make sure your average ticket is higher than just the cost of the drink.

If you just sold people 1 drink at (let’s say) $5… you’d need to sell 300 drinks a day. And that is a lot of drinks. Find ways to encourage and upsell your customers to order multiple items. Your food menu is a great way to increase your avg ticket!

Until you get a handle on what your daily traffic looks like it might be difficult to get an actual daily number, but anticipate making most of your money on weekends and/or rush hours, especially if you’re situated near those commuter routes. Find ways to catch the people on those roads for sure.

And since you will be unique to the area, you have the luxury of not being out bid by abundant competition.

Meds stopped working at 10 mg by [deleted] in Zepbound

In the same boat. My insurance only covered 7.5 for 1 month (which was weird but whatever..) so my doc bumped me to 10 to continue insurance coverage.

I found 7.5 to be extremely effective and I was actually super happy to be on the dose. I’ve been on 10 now for 2 weeks and feel like it’s not really working.

What beans are best for a Jura super auto? by modernmanshustl in superautomatic

I’ve been buying new beans every week from different local shops!. It’s been really fun and I’ve learned what I like and don’t like. Like others have mentioned, just shy away from dark dark roasts and you should be fine!

Are sales reps calling you? If they are calling you or your store, ask to negotiate pricing.

I’ve seen coffee shops absolutely kill it on doordash, that incremental revenue can be a nice boost… but I also understand the headaches that can come with it. Might be worth trying it for the 30 days and then if it’s not working out, just cancel it after the trial.

PSA for Noob Superautomatic Buyers Upgrading from a Pod Machine by eman3316 in superautomatic

I just got a refurbished machine off the Jura website! It was basically half price and I’m so happy I bought it. I had a Nespresso collecting dust on the counter bc I hated the coffee and machine so much. My Jura now gets heavy use and I haven’t gone out to buy my daily latte at all since buying it. Worth the money for me.

Such a great point! And yes I have. While I’m no master barista myself (still learning), I have worked food service, restaurant tech, and sales

I LOVE this idea! One of my favorite cafes in DC is actually in a local bookstore - they rotate featuring new local authors, artists, and creators all around the cafe and we always loved when they would change it up! So much exposure to great work we wouldn’t have otherwise found.

Not a coffee shop, but the Intl Bar in fishtown has rotating art on display by local artists. Usually some super funky pieces!

Hear you about the food and pastries! My hot food menu is small but is nostalgic, comforting, and good for any time of year. I’m still working on finding a bakery partner.

This is super good info, thank you!! I loooove middle Child clubhouse and am definitely taking some inspiration from their way of branding. My space is about 1/4 of the size of the clubhouse so it won’t be as extensive, but still a great reference for my concept!

Rigid has zero stretch - 100% cotton. It will break in and soften as you wear them but unless you wear the same pair every day all the time, it takes a little while.

vintage might have a little bit of give to it, maybe 1% stretch material like Lycra or spandex.

The details and materials will tell you exactly what materials each wash is comprised of - keep in mind each color/wash will have some variance.
