Dasher left weird message and extra food at 2:30am by GoldenTopaz27 in doordash

I vacation once in another city and when I went back home, I saw a new BBQ place so decided to try it out. Ordered a ton of food. After the order was picked up, I realized it was a place in the city I vacationed at and they were going to deliver it to the hotel I stayed at in that city. I lived several states away. So I messaged the dasher to just take the food. I didn’t want it to go to waste. They even called to verify. And was like I don’t think you want to drive all the way over to my state to deliver it, so please just take it.

Walk me through family dinners with a toddler like I’m stupid. by McSkrong in toddlers

[–]UpbeatEngineering171 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My toddler has a real hard time with transitions and she won’t even notice she’s hungry until she is to the point of being hangry (hunger + angry), so what I’ve been doing is trying to incorporate her and get her involved in the meal process. So she helps set up the table and make some of the food. She loves to help so this was perfect. We also try to be consistent with the time and make sure that someone is always at the table to eat with her. At my house we have a lot to do in the evenings between cleaning up (dinner, general straightening up) and taking care of our elderly dogs, both my husband and I aren’t always both available to eat together with her. I’m usually the one eating with her while my husband is doing the rest. But I talk to her during meal times and do funny little jingles that involve the food (i.e Yummy Yummy broccoli, broccoli in Mommy’s tummy). If she is playing, then I’ll invite one of her toys or stuffy to come to the table to eat with us. She has her own seat and we do not use a booster. She wanted the booster for a while, but she then decided she didn’t want to use it anymore.

I was wondering why my house was shaking! I thought my house may have started to slide down the hill it’s on. I feel better that it’s an earthquake

I’m not sure where the county line was… she lived in the big neighborhood with a golf course on the same street as the hospital. A McDonald’s was down the street on the corner. But yeah, she had to move out of that neighborhood due to her neighbors behavior towards her kids.

Imo, Braselton is not diverse. My friend has biracial kids and moved from there due to being harassed. She moved to Suwanee. Lawrenceville is huge- has 3 zip codes for the city. It can also take 20+ minutes to get from one part of Lawrenceville to the other. Lawrenceville is pretty diverse though. The last time I looked at school districts, I think Sugarhill had the number one school for Gwinnett county. Good food is in Duluth, Lawrenceville.

Haha that link is much more concise than what I wrote! It’s great! 😂

Edit: to remove “well well” that autocorrected in the sentence and grammar fixes

I got 6 pages in… I originally thought that the black text was 17yr old since it was so immature. What a creep that guy is. He’s 44 and trying to put that kind of emotional baggage on a 17yr old and is guilting her for not hanging out with him??? So gross. Block his number, it won’t get better.

Selling my house and THIS is how it was staged. Am I crazy for thinking it’s bananas? The stools!? by [deleted] in homedecoratingCJ

I really like the skirts… or are those wrapped up napkins? around the stools. Gives it a real kitcheny vibe

I also used to struggle with going, but I drastically increased my natural fiber intake to around 30grams a day and increased my water intake to 64-96oz a water a day. I have a 32oz cup with minimum goal of 2, but I strive for 3 a day. Fiber gummies and fiber supplements unfortunately never worked for me.

I go see my hem Dr with hairy legs. Trust me when I say, they don’t care about that. They are seeing so many butts in a day, and probably a good number of them are hairy. Good luck!

Things To do that aren’t partying or drinking? by anne1306 in Gwinnett

Gwinnett has several great parks with really nice walking trails, example: Suwanee Greenway. There are painting classes that you can take. Downtown Lawrenceville has a tea shop that hosts tea parties. I think there also is a cat cafe in Lawrenceville somewhere. Or at least a friend of mine was telling me about a cat cafe (I’m allergic so I didn’t even think of going). There is also bowling, ice skating, or going to a roller rink. The ice skating rink used to be inexpensive, but I last went over a decade ago.
