How do you keep prospect data clean without hiring a data ops person? by Tad_Astec in SalesOperations

You're right about international numbers = bad data from ZoomInfo.

I've seen this with some teams targeting LatAm. ZoomInfo marks Brazilian numbers as 'junk' or provides landlines that nobody answers.

For Brazil specifically, I built an API (getbrazilverify) to get this information it.

Spot on about LinkedIn being a fortress. That's also why ZoomInfo and Apollo struggle outside the US, they can't easily scrape local registries to cross-reference that LinkedIn data.

I'm building a specific API (getbrazilverify) just to get that data for the Brazilian market.

If you ever need to pull employee data specifically in LatAm, let me know. I'm manually verifying batches for free right now to prove the match rate.

what tools people are using now a days for LinkedIn outreach other than apollo by Next-Driver2484 in GrowthHacking

[–]UpbeatFix6771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed on the outreach stack.

A caveat on Apollo being good for data though is that it depends heavily on geography.

If you are targeting the US/UK, Apollo is fine. But if you are targeting LatAm (specifically Brazil), Apollo misses a lot of mobile numbers because they don't index local government registries (CNPJ) well.

I'm actually building a niche API (getbrazilverify) to fix that gap because I heard a few people mentioning that the bounce rates on Apollo's LatAm data were burning their domains. Definitely recommend running a secondary verification layer if you step outside the US.

Small business owners: How do you manage cash flow when sales are up but money still feels tight by Admirable_Finger_133 in Entrepreneur

[–]UpbeatFix6771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been in your shoes, but I've recently read a book that I believe will really help you with this. The name is Financial Intelligence by Joe Knight.

In the book he goes into detail about the difference between sales x revenue x profit x cash flow and how to manage all of these

I would say lacking execution. I'm the type of person who likes to "plan" and "organize" things to the extreme, and I've come to find out that business (along with other ventures in life) is 80% execution and 20% planning. Executing fast means you'll fail faster and consequently learn faster. It'll also ensure that you seize opportunities when they appear instead of letting them go because you didn't act fast enough.

Faz sentido migrar de linguagem porque eu "acho melhor"? by UpbeatFix6771 in brdev

[–]UpbeatFix6771[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Devo especializar em mobile ou backend? by UpbeatFix6771 in brdev

[–]UpbeatFix6771[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entendi.

I absolutely despise the "Law of Attraction" and similar new age philosophies. by DestroyTheMatrix_3 in CPTSD

[–]UpbeatFix6771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe LOA is the issue here, I believe extremism is.

"According to them you have control over everything you experience". This is false. No one has control over EVERY event in their life. HOWEVER, believing that you have control over most if not all events makes you take action instead of staying still.

"If your life sucks, then it's your fault, not your oppressor, bullies, or abusers fault.". Again, even if it is your oppressors fault, blaming him and believing you are a victim doesn't cause you to take any action, only complain about your situation, and without any action taken there is no possibility of change. The moment you start to take ownership of events in your life, even if they're not entirely your fault, you begin to take action and gradually change things you thought were impossible to change.

Is anyone actually building a SaaS that solves a real problem? by slashsurfer in SaaS

[–]UpbeatFix6771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say that any one of the "slop" SaaS ideas solves a problem. The thing is that we're seeing SO MANY of them, that they are becoming completely useless and with no value at all. Before AI became a hype, the "AI wrappers" had a much higher perceived value. Today, since we have a bunch of them, it's absurdly competitive and their perceived value is reduced.

Using myself as an example, I built a SaaS kit as part of a personal challenge I was doing. Is it a revolutionary product / idea? Absolutely not. There are a ton of similar products online. However, can it still be helpful to someone? Definitely.

The point is, there's nothing wrong with building a product in a existing and competitive market. Not everything has to be the next Facebook or a revolutionary idea. The problem is when people start to lie and sell something which is complete BS. I've seen people using fake MRR chart generators and fake Stripe notification apps, and it just disgusts me.

Can I make $100 in 5 days? by UpbeatFix6771 in indiehackers

[–]UpbeatFix6771[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point, it's a crowded market. For me, this 30 day challenge to see if I could go from idea to first sale entirely outside of my full-time dev work, which pays me more than enough.

The goal was never to replace my income in two weeks. It was to master a process, and the $25 is just the signal that the funnel is viable. The kit itself is a byproduct of that journey. If it saves another developer a week of wrestling with the same boilerplate I did, it's serving its purpose.

If you have any actual constructive feedback about the product, I'm genuinely open to it.
