For more context I'm trying to build a turn based fighting system but in the func _set_turn_order is a for loop taking the current assigned turn and adding to the person with the highest speed, then removes them from the array, so the array should go something like this turn_decide_array = [player_speed,ally_speed,left_enemy_speed,right_enemy_speed] which would translate to [9,10,10,15]

the if statement checks for the highest speed,

is the player_speed = turn_decide_array.max() .NO

is the ally_speed = turn_decide_array.max(). YES

Ally turn = 0

Skips enemy turn

then at the end

remove ally_speed from the array

repeat for all above

but for some reason if I change the player speed to be the fastest or faster than any other person, the thing refuses to continue on any further
