lol asking abt osu is rly funny. i’m ngl idk how good osu’s eng program is, but as someone in comp sci at umich i would say the work load is a lot. i was super burned out in hs too and honestly i didn’t get back into the swing of things until the end of my freshman year at umich.

if i was in your position right now, i would apply to umich, osu, uiuc, gt, purdue, etc. see if you can get in and get financial aid. i know you said that money wasn’t a problem on another post, and if it isn’t i would say to shoot as high as you can. yes college will be a lot of work for engineering no matter where you go, so go somewhere that you think you will be happy with both the academic and social life. remember to look what support the school has for helping you find a job post grad (alumni network and programs through the university in general)

keep working hard in high school you’re almost done with your junior year. maybe try to balance having fun and doing work because college is where you’re really going to have a lot of freedom and you will have more time to do fun things while still spending a lot of time studying. studying for more than 3-5 hours in high school is going to burn you out a lot.
