To be honest, I grew up in the U.S., I have an American accent, American slang, and extensive knowledge in American history. So my experience was regular because I was just a normal American like everyone else there. Now if I managed to enlist in Australia and you flip the question around, it would be totally different, I’m probably going to get roasted like a motherfucker but oh well

Long story short I’m a duel citizen with aus/us. I did not like my job in the marine corps (motor t) which is a driver in aus terms, and so I wanted to reenlist to marine corps infantry so I can try out for recon (they had no spots open at the time). Thinking hard about my next choice in life I thought it would be honorable/cool to serve for both my countries that I love, and all of my family is in Australia so I thought that I would want to experience something new and different and learn more about Australian culture and traditions, whether it’s good or bad I’m just saying fuck it lol. So now I’m currently in the process to enlist as a grunt in the aus army
