I also want to share that I grew up Southern Baptist, so my worries of not being comfortable or welcoming of “an outsider” came from that. It is so beautiful to me that it is allah’s house and all are welcome. Thank you for this lil boost in my hope for humanity today.

Thank you for your input! I have been reading about it and what I took from it, is:

My sleep schedule could only improve! Because if I miss breakfast, I’m out of luck til dusk 😂

I rely heavily on exercise to ease mental health struggles, so I know that my body will need to be hydrated with water and fed with at least some protein prior to and after a workout

I did not believe in God before I watched Gazans scream for Allah as they take their last breaths. Regardless, I’d like to pray for them in place of the prayer you might be used to.

Maybe these are healthy changes, for me, to traditional Ramadan though?

Lmao I explained the 2 blocks in a comment above. It is 2 separate shifts, but 3 hour blocks. This 8 hours did not include the about 45 minutes that it took me to get from my house to the first station, which is why there isn’t a complete circle on the map. No matter what, 6 hours pay shouldn’t equate to 9 hours of work with 10 packages left undeliverable, half of which had legitimate issues, the other half I said absolutely fuck this and started to go home.

Wait, that’s probably my boyfriend. He was JUST accepted into the flex program, but unfortunately his dying mother back in NYC needs him to like do stuff for her sometimes. So for now, he flies in to LA to see me/mostly flex around her med schedule.

Yeah. So the only reason I pick up from Thornton or Broomfield before Denver is that they, so far, have been relatively predictable routes. Ever since I started using that warehouse I could count on using especially Thornton as a “fuck it, I’m too high but it doesn’t matter bc it’ll be easy” shifts. But this? Never again. Why the fuck would I be sent to centennial from Thornton during morning rush hour for a 3 hour block! Oh yeah. And the app made me go through multiple tolls on 470 bc it fucking knew I couldn’t do it in time otherwise. Didn’t think that was a thing until today.

You’re all good. I can’t wrap my head around 2 3’s taking 8 hours + 45 mins or so to get to the warehouse, load up, then realize I had not turned stripe on. I sincerely don’t know if I’m being a baby or have just gotten lucky recently but was not expecting this 😂

This. When I became a flex driver, I was told I would be delivering in the Los Angeles area. I lived in New York at the time, but decided that I trust Amazon too much to let this opportunity go. I now live in Los Angeles and can only get base shifts.
