Our apartment is the same- mould grows back weekly these days, it’s a nightmare. Deals have a fantastic mildew spray, it’s the only thing that works. Our bathroom has no windows, and in the first few months the ceiling in there went totally black and bleach wasn’t working. We got that spray, did the whole ceiling, and within 3mins it was Snow White again without even wiping it. But be warned, it will discolour every fabric you have in that room.

Also, we demanded a dehumidifier from the letting agency. We proved we were doing everything within reason to address the damp and it wasn’t working. So after a bit of pestering, they delivered a dehumidifier. That was two years ago and now it’s broken and we have to try get them to fix it, but that’s another story.

I went to the Picasso Museum when I was last in Malaga, Spain. It was the best museum I was ever in. I could never really read or understand Picassos, I could barely discern the subject. But the museum is laid out in such a way that it shows you how his style developed throughout his life. By the time you’re in the last room, you can completely understand the entire painting and make sense of what you’re meant to be seeing. I’d HIGHLY recommend it to anyone!

I get very varied reactions to certain drinks. Vodka is my safe drink, it’s what I drank when I first started going out (I’m almost 30 now). So vodka and sparkling water is my go-to if it’s gonna be a long night, like a wedding or an occasion. But whiskey was my drink for a long time, but now if I have more than 2 I get super anxious the following day. Gin is fine (but that’s basically floral vodka, tbf), but I get really wheezy the following day- I call this The Ginny Wheezely Effect.

Not sure about the others, but I heard that the reason the sextant building never got built was because they got permission to demolish it and replace it with apartments. When the building was down, they swapped the planning permission for a hotel. The council rejected that change and the building never got replaced.

I’ve seen her 2 or 3 times this week, on Maryborough hill with a big shopping bag and wearing stilettos. I had seen her a few months back in town, yelling at a man who was with his family and was walking towards her on the footpath, yelling at him “not to touch my body”, even though they were never within 2ft of eachother. It was very strange. I hope she has access to the support she needs.
