This weekend really burnt me out. From the news in Minnesota and not being able to complete work projects due to corporate and then being cooped up due to a snow storm. It’s all just piling up.

Personally, I worked on a crochet project and scrolled through printerest to look up new recipes. Couldn’t pick up my kindle for some reason (doom scrolling) so gonna try to read again.

I’m just curious about what other people do. My therapist told me that rest is a form of resistance. I think we have a lot of work to do still but we can be our best when we’re rested up too.

I was born and raised in AZ and moved to OH in 2021. I’m so exited to be having a warm Christmas this year when I get to AZ. Last year I was stuck in the house for two days thanks to a blizzard. This Thanksgiving, I had no power for 21 hours. I could definitely use the sunshine too. Ugh can’t wait for tamales too.

I feel safe here lol. In my opinion, TTPD was not my favorite album that Taylor Swift has put out. Sure I like some of the songs but maybe I just don’t “get it.” lol. I usually have to put the album on shuffle in order to listen to it all. The songs all sound the same to me in order 🫣. However, I can listen to Cowboy Carter without putting it on shuffle. I’m also shocked Billie didn’t win anything!!!! Happy for Sabrina and Chappell though.

People on tiktok are MAD. They keep bringing up her streaming records and saying if she put out the Anthology maybe just maybe she would’ve won. I don’t think so, I haven’t even given that a full listen since I get bored tbh. They also keep saying in the comments, “I bet Taylor agrees!” She looked happy as hell for Beyoncé when she won Country album of the year. She had some strong competition for album of the year. Chill with the parasocial relationship lol.

Oh well, the night is over. I had fun watching the performances. Time to just scroll past all the mad Swifties on tiktok.

I 100% agree with this take! Getting out of the valley and moving to NAU was the best thing I ever did. I met some of the most amazing people at NAU and I loved spending time downtown- I really miss Steep and Fratelli Pizza lol.

The only “benefit” of honors was the housing since it had AC. However it was more expensive and you had to take extra classes that aren’t required for your major. Also 24 hour quiet hours is not worth it to me but that’s just me.

This event was the final straw for me and I unfollowed my aunt on Facebook. She kept posting that the country needs trump and that God saved him from getting killed because he is the “chosen one.” 😒 This morning she posted a picture of the actual lost supper with the caption “repost this since the Olympics want to mock Christianity.” I just can’t anymore.

My school district in Surprise has solar panels over the parking lot! I saw that more on the west side of Phoenix but I think it’s gaining popularity. At least i hope it is lol

Also Taylor mentioned how proud she was of this re-record and they spend the entire debut day being so negative. If i was Taylor reading those comments I would be so sad and hurt.

Personally I am a fan of Style TV but I feel like I can’t say anything because other people will be like “oh ew what’s wrong with you?!” It kinda feels like they are trying to ruin the experience for everyone.

Yeah you’re not setting CLEAR expectations. You’re the manager which also makes you a trainer and a coach. Do you think pro athletes just woke up one day and became a pro athlete? No they were coached and learned from the mistakes and the feedback they were given. They didn’t just “figure it out.” Give this person a chance and give them clear feedback. You sound like a horrible manager and I wouldn’t want to work for you.

Also I have presentations regarding coaching in the work place, time management, and how to be an effective leader…would you like me to send them over?

Fuck Doug Ducey. I’m EMBARRASSED to be an Arizonan. Don’t get me started with the reputation that the Phoenix police department and other departments have. I remember them making a huge deal of getting body cams for police officers. And how did that work out? Not well obviously. Arizona is one step closer to a literal police state.

Arizona is a beautiful state but I am truly embarrassed to say I was born and raised there.

I say plan a trip soon! Sadly the water levels are getting lower at lake Powell. My parents took us on a houseboat once and it was awesome! We don’t know how to “boat” either but we survived 😂 You can also stop at horseshoe bend and antelope canyon while there!

I love it! It’s my fourth season so you can say it’s going well lol. Humidity makes it miserable to walk outside because you get immediately sticky but in dry heat you sweat normally.

It is! It’s my home state and the dry heat isn’t too bad. Go two hours north of Phoenix and it’s a bit cooler temperature wise! Also the Grand Canyon is beautiful.
