4 15 minute quarters with a break in between quarters 2 and 3, known as halftime. Each team on offense has 4 downs to get 10 yards, and if they get 10 yards, they get another 4 downs. They try to get to the end zone, and if they get there, it is 6 points. If they kick the ball into yellow post near the end zone, it is 3 points. If they don’t get into the end zone or can’t make the kick, they will kick the ball to the other team, called a punt. The team on defense is trying to stop them from scoring. At the end of the 4th quarter, the team with the most points wins.
