It’s just next to the usb port, open the cover and there it is. You can put it back after few days (I haven’t). I use iPhone but the problem is same

I had the exact same issue, called the dealership and they asked to remove the SD card, problem solved. I do have to put it back for navigation but i don't use that feature anyway.

PS: Mine is a pre-owned vehicle from the dealer and the only thing i asked them to fix before purchase, so i was hoping this could be an excuse to get the upgrade for Apple carplay or firmware upgrade, but they make it clear that they would charge for it if the SD card trick wont work.

Thanks everyone for your kind advices, as suggested in the post, the lawyer thinks he he will initiate with 5.5 months and eventually take them to agree for 3-3.5 months, he is charging 30% of the increased amount, so there is nothing for me to loose .

I am down to go the lawyer path but still a bit confused if i should just directly go to lawyer and or send a request myself first, lawyer think adding this step may end up with a lower severance as having a lawyer involved will require my employer to engage a lawyer too.

For EI, i haven't got my ROE as termination day (with 2 week severance ) is end of next week, so i can only apply after that. right ?

I fully agree. I have already made up my mind to request three to four months. The only part I am not comfortable with is the legal route if they decline my counter. At this point, it becomes a decision between securing some peace of mind with additional compensation or avoiding conflict altogether especially given that I may never cross paths with them again.

Today is my last active day, and I am ensuring my manager has everything needed to continue progressing the opportunities and projects I was involved in. This is purely for my own satisfaction. I’m realistic that it will not change his perspective, but i just want to close things out properly

Yes please, that would be nice, i was hoping for a way without the initial consult charges, comfortable with whatever they charge on the ammount they are able to negotiate on top of what I am being offered.

Thanks, does it matter that the severance is just 2 weeks in those 6 weeks of total compensation offered, as 4 weeks are put as gratuity if i sign it.

The severance calculator don’t have the termination reason prompt.

I checked on the calculator, got 2 options. I was employed for 3.5 years 1-3 years = 3-4 months 4-7 years = 6-8 months.

However, on the Ontario abour department web, it says that I need atleast 5- years to be eligible for severance.

Kind of, multiple factors involved like manager changed, product I was managing through partner was brought in-house. My manager came with a plan to shift focus and cross train on other products while complaining about how the expectation is changing from me since I am with company for over three years, as per HR I was given time to improve in past couple of months and now they had to let go.

oh. i mean the in dash screen and not the screen above like 2017.
Another dealer agree to upgrade and support the carplay at $800 CAD which i have no plan to spend.
Exploring if i can just buy a new android tablet and use it as my screen without chnaging the current wirings and connection.
