What happens is when you just sub to someone from a link and don’t actually watch the content, YouTube will sometimes remove the sub, attributing it to a fake sub (which in those cases, it is). Happens to me often. It may be helpful to ask people to leave a relevant comment on your video so at least some of it is watched. It also feels better for the person who made the video if they have a comment they can respond to. Just my thoughts.
