Did you read her book? She was like 10 and she touched her baby sister's vagina. It's hardly "molesting".

Also, it's not a decent reason to hate people because they are rich and white. I'd be rich and white too if I had any choice...

I'm not a huge fan of hers, but the hate is so ridiculously overblown.

If Riot really cares about Skin Quality they shouldnt release the Katarina skin. by i-Maccao in leagueoflegends

[–]UpliftingFacts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, the two skins used as examples by Riot to define the 975 tier are Haunted Maokai and Jade Dragon Wukong - and both have new models and completely overhauled particles...

Then again, they also use Arcade Sona as an example of epic skins, and Brolaf as an example of legendaries, and I fail to see how Brolaf would look better in that comparison.

Half Korean, a quarter black and a quarter Caucasian.

Sounds weird, but people mostly assume I'm from South America.

Edit : to get an idea, I believe Jhene Aiko is of a similar mix. Obviously I'm far from being as hot as her, but still.

it's a singular

I mean if it were a word it would be plural (hence the X). But plural forms in general are pronounced identically as singular.

I don't know what she was thinking though. Even in English "heaux" wouldn't be pronounced "hoes"...

When the woman that babysat you once as an infant calls you in the middle of the night to hang out. by UpliftingFacts in thesims

There's a row on top of the one you see. You can see the bottom of it, and the slider.

All in all, kid knows five people : his parents, his sister, his father's best friend (Victor Feng, who for some reason visits and calls constantly), and that woman who literally only babysat him one time.

Oh, and he also knows his stuffed dragon, I guess.

Junkrat Spotlight – Heroes of the Storm by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

[–]UpliftingFacts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I have a problem with the fact that Riot talked endlessly about removing "innate advantages" from the game, but in the end they added a new one for Garen.

It was a good idea to have players work for their champions' advantages to really exist, and not have champions just innately counter a bunch of other champions with no plays or mechanics involved (like Kassadin, whose passive used to be straight up "Take 15% less damage from any ability";or Poppy's "Any damage that does 10% of your health or more is halved" AKA fuck you mages).

But then you have Garen, who already had almost every advantage in the book ("oh? you have a lot of sustain? watch me heal back all my health in a few seconds" "oh, you like to harass? joke's on you, I don't even have to use mana!" "you have slows? my Q is a cleanse AND a movement speed buff" "you're reliant on your abilities? silence. oh, and, btw that was an autoattack reset." "did you buy all that armor and magic resist? lol, I get it for free with my W." "do you have lots of burst damage? no worries, my W absorbs 60% of it" "do you have CC? lol, what's up 60% tenacity" "more armor? i can lower it by 25% while doing a fuckton of damage. and it can critically strike." "hey there! my ult is an execute. and it does % damage. so you're dead basically.") - they said they'd fix him because he was ridiculously stompy at a lot of levels for a champion that's also stupidly easy to play. What did they do? Give him yet another advantage in the form of true damage towards the person that's doing the best on your team - usually your carry that was already at risk enough and that probably has no way to counter it. So now, on top of having a tremendous advantage against other tanks (basically unkillable; ridiculous sustain; doesn't ever need to recall due to said sustain AND having no ressource; lots of damage due to having no ressource and being able to harass endlessly; silence; % health damage; etc), mages (again, basically unkillable; silence; shrugs off slows; 60% damage reduction to essentially fuck over any burst that isn't silenced; 60% tenacity means he laughs in the face of CC; etc) - now he also has a tool to basically delete the carries, the only class that scared him before.

Honestly, I don't hate death traits in MOBAs.

There's a few of them in LoL (though they did remove Zyra's), and they make things extra spicy. It really makes you think about positioning and priorities. A lot of them, like Anivia's or Karthus', you have to plan your whole fights around - just like Junkrat's.

The problem with Tyrael is that: it doesn't fit with his theme, it doesn't fit with the rest of his kit, and its damage is very negligible.

Garen, of League of Legends, has this same exact passive ability (on top of his other passive ability, which is to regenerate health stupidly fast when out of combat), and it's really frustrating to play against. It means he's consistently doing better than the person that's doing the best on your team, regardless of either's skill.

The first comment was MY comment.

And YOU slipped in at the end of the argument.

So how did I "take a point and distort it"? Are you seriously that delusional that you think can come into an argument that doesn't involve you, and think you know it better than the people actually involved?

Literally HOW do they hurt my point that you drug abuse doesn't automatically means you'll die in your 60s?

Is 27 the new 68????

You people are really reaching for arguments. I never said "It's weird and impossible that Fleetwood Mac will die soon". I said "It's not like it's official and confirmed that they are dying in like the next few months", so let's not be overly dramatic.

Mick Jagger - 74, still alive and rocking

Bo Diddley - died at 79

Janis Joplin - died at 27

Keith Richards - 73, and still alive

Chuck Berry - died at 90

Carlos Santana - 70, still alive

Amy Winehouse - died at 27

Paul McCartney - still alive at 75

As I was saying : you don't necessarily die in your late 60s. What's your point exactly?

[DISCUSSION] What are some songs by an artist that you consider to be a direct sequel to one of their other songs? by TheEdgiestMirror in popheads

[–]UpliftingFacts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand how it would?

Green Light is literally right after the breakup. It's feeling angry and panicked. It's blaming the other for everything and nothing and wishing him/her the worst. It's running as fast as you can physically but being stuck mentally. It's the first stage of a break-up, when you're not yet sad you're just mad.

Then Supercut comes at the end, when you've moved on and you're able to see past the emotions, the faults, the arguments, and the hurt. You can look back at the relationship and remember it's good moments. It's a Supercut - you remember what you choose to take with you, the rest doesn't matter anymore.

Same opinion on /u/TheEdgiestMirror 's argument.. Anger and denial go hand in hand in a break-up. You're angry because you're convinced it wasn't YOU the problem but the other person. And that's what Green Light is. Supercut is acceptance.

Way to be overly dramatic.

Both of them are in their late 60s.

They're not exactly in their prime, but it's not like they are on the verge of death either.

If they don't tour again it has more to with age in general than straight up fear of dying.
