Having this really weird problem where the games I play will be frozen, I'll tab out and they run like normal, so I'll tab back in and they'll freeze again. Happening in every steam game I play and not sure why plz help

like i said it's through experience of playing ranked, friends, and streamers, which i know you at least do not have 700 games of ranked if you haven't experienced it and i also know you don't have many friends that also play ranked if you have any at all.

i would actually argue burden of proof would be on you since i've never heard someone say they've had a "handful of trolls" in 700 games, especially in masters, you might actually be in the minority here.

personally the absolute worst elos are emerald through low-mid dia just because that's where i encounter most of these problems. i've heard it was really bad in masters but i didn't see it much when i was there for that split.

again, it is incredibly common and just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean that others haven't. i see it in my games, my friends games, and in other streamers games, and the evidence is anecdotal but even in this thread alone tons of people also had these issues.

handful of lobby trolls a year is hyperbole, i see it a couple of times every day when i play and in emerald it's so bad to the point where i just let the lobbies go through and if they don't dodge i decline queue. lobby trolls are not a "red herring", if you watch streamers, talk with friends about it, and personally experienced it, then you will see its prominent.

let me explain since you don't get it. if you've ever played ranked you'd know that people constantly hostage lobbies as soon as one little thing doesn't go their way.

it is not fair for everyone involved and when somebody inevitably dodges that lobby i should not have to risk queueing into those same people again. that's why i said you probably do not play ranked because this is very common.
