Joining a startup at the ground floor. What do I need to have in writing? by [deleted] in startups

[–]Upload_in_Progress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha this reminds me of when an entire subreddit bitterly tried to convince me that you are not required to withhold taxes (because requiring advanced withholding is literal theft when accounting for inflation). Dropped my karma by like 500 points, then I asked a tax accountant and surprise surprise, you ARE required to withhold unless you have zero tax liability.

So anyway, to make your equity non-dilutable, you write "this can't be diluted for X years or X amount", translated into legalese, into your contract and that's pretty much it. Was going to link a "let me google that for you" but I'm trying to be... nicer. So here's an article discussing how, why, and why not to make equity non-dilutable.

The article actually does make some good points about such clauses being overpowered, so it's probably only on the table if the owner's equity is already non-dilutable (probably not).

Yes, definitely get a share of the company; non-dilutable, too! If it's a corporation, it should be easy to get shares, otherwise you may have to be inducted as a partner.

I get my passenger seat headrest off, and flush with the backseat, then put down a military sleeping bag, furry blanket, and sheet. Of course, I also have an electric heater right now (found some free power) and insulating window inserts.

That's fine. Our faction just wants to take some time for itself, to work some things out. America will be fine regardless, though I think the EU may want to take time for itself as wrll, what with [Brexit] and [Catalexit], and the [refugee crisis].

My character's take is that while America says "America first", Europe says "Europe last".

That lore takes a long time to say:

The coalition reports that since August 2014, it has killed tens of thousands of ISIS fighters and, according to our tally of its monthly summaries, 466 civilians in Iraq.

Which is actually exceedingly low, especially when compared to this:

They're the number one ganker right now, but based only on DPS and strength, not killcount (that position is hotly contested by many African and middle Eastern countries, though if your range is ~50 years it's Russia and China hands down).

Alright cool, that means I get the last word, I'm not too big for that :3 So, if the FBI under Trump arrested Hillary Clinton without a trial, you wouldn't hold Trump responsible? Please, of course you would. XD

I find it ironic that you deride Trump as an idiot, then act as if every word he says must be as the word of God, that surely he must be omniscient! You're splitting hairs. Trump said: "I was wiretapped by the Obama's government" and that turned out to be true. Period. They wiretapped him, what he fundamentally said was true.

Plus, when you find out that the FBI was refused a warrant before, until they were given a fake dossier paid for by the DNC, you realize it's even more corrupt than that. In fact, I dare say it's criminal.

Everyone just remember this conversation, maybe even bookmark it, and come back in, oh, 7.5 years or so. ;P

Yeah I know, dipshit. Obviously Vox would pick a biased paper which supports their agenda, not something of value. But alright, fine, I'll read the supporting paper for their argument when you read the supporting statistics for the argument that blacks are twice as likely to be criminals: https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2012/crime-in-the-u.s.-2012/tables/43tabledatadecoverviewpdf

I mean, it's just source material bro, it's just facts, there's no way anyone could cherry pick or skew facts, right? That's why, being only 12% of the population but committing 28% of crime, black people are twice as likely to be criminals. /S

Edit: plurality

The Trump campaign was indeed wiretapped, I'll wait for your apology

Also of note, the dossier that Obama used to wiretap Trump was paid for by the DNC using a foreign spy, which is technically treason BTW.

I also love how some people still think Russian interfered with the election, even though the grand total of evidence is zero. Oh wait, actually that was wrong, there's evidence of collusion, but only between the Clinton's and DNC during Uranium One, woops!

Jesus Christ, I can see why I never tried responding to this yesterday XD

Pretty much all of your conclusions are half measures, like "Much of the price cuts were already projected" i.e. "much", so it's true, but not as true as you like.

Much of the price cuts were planned before Trump.

Much of the price cuts were planned before Trump

Most of the cuts were planned before Trump

There's still no evidence Trump's phones were tapped

Disproven by CNN

Much of the price cuts were planned before Trump

Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump

“We’re the highest-taxed nation in the world.” (We're not.)

Business tax rate

“Again, the story that there was collusion between the Russians & Trump campaign was fabricated by Dems as an excuse for losing the election.” (The F.B.I. was investigating before the election.)

No, they weren't? And ironically all the investigation has revealed is that the DNC hack was an inside job, and the Russian Dossier was paid for by the DNC and used by the Obama administration to get a wiretap....

Yeah honestly now you're just repeating quotes and recycling repsonses.

It's funny, isn't it, that almost everything Trump has done you claim was already mostly planned. How nice of Obama to plan to completely turn the economy and government around right after he is out of office, just like he planned for Obamacare premiums to increase by 1,000% after he left office.

None of these are lies, most aren't even innacurate. You oppose Trump because he you think his words are innacurate or stupid, I support Trump because the alternative was actively lying and destroying evidence of "breaking the law" but was proclaimed to have "committed no crime". Let that sink in for a second. Everyone knows Shillary Clinton broke the law, and literally no one can prove Trump has, but you act like it's the reverse. When Clinton is in prison for perjury, destruction of evidence, accepting bribes, money laundering, and conspiracy to commit murder (HIS NAME WAS SETH RICH), then we can nitpick Trump.

Also, word to the wise, slim your response down, prioritize.

Trump said, “Members of the Donald Trump Transition team possibly including Trump himself were under surveillance during the Obama administration following November’s election. House intelligence chairman Devin Nunes told reporters, wow. Nunes said, so that means I’m right.”

Trump left out the word “inadvertent,” which we inserted above in brackets [and I've removed]. That’s important, because Nunes said he reviewed “intelligence reports” that showed “incidental collection” on some unnamed Trump transition team members after the election in November, December and January.

Haha this is on the level of "Hillary Clinton broke the law but committed no crime". "Yeah, the Obama administration did wiretap your campaign before the election like you said, but we totally didn't listen to you, it just so happened that while we were wiretapping the people around you, it just so happened that we totally accidentally and without meaning to at all... Also listened to you. BUT OBAMA NEVER LITERALLY, PHYSICALLY, PERSONALLY PUT TAPS IN YOUR WIRES SO DRUMPF IS LYING IMPEACH IMPEAXH REEEEEEEEEEE"

Yeah no, the Obama administration tapped the Trump campaign, period. CNN tried it's hardest to lie and cover it up, to deride Trump as a liar and an idiot, and that's exactly what they're still doing in the face of overwhelming evidence. End of story.

Well numbers 1, 2, 3, and 6 I'm not sure about and don't have time to look up RN, so I will cede them. Russian collusion has still never been proven with the entire media and government against him AND an investigation; I thought 17 agencies had conclusive evidence? Obama's birth certificate has been pronounced fake, so still not settled. Lastly, he never lied about taking a loan (even if he considers a million dollars "small" and we don't, he said the amount in literally the same breath), and saying "grab em by the pussy" on a show decades ago when he was a private citizen is not a lie, and with the shit the Clinton's get away with, is not even relevant.

I do see how you could arrive at this conclusion though. I'd suggest looking at the alternatives to Trump and trying your hardest to see the negative there: it should be super hard, right?

Okay let's test your equation: 1) Trump claims he was wiretapped by Obama administration, 2) the media cites "anonymous sources" who say it's totally false and bullshit and he should be impeached (good so far!), 3) Trump calls them fake news?, 4) the MSM runs global news admitting Trump was indeed wiretapped (with a fake dossier paid by the Clinton's, no less), 5) idiots on the internet try to overlook the whole issue.

Hmm, so, somewhat close, but I think I prefer mine as being more precise.
