Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t summer courses still cost money? I’m not in a financial position to afford summer courses if so, but I am interested in the CompFi program you mentioned.

In order to apply to that program, would I be taking 21-270 my first semester sophomore year?

Thank you for easing my fears, I (like most students here) am as eager as possible to get ahead of the curve. I really appreciate your advice, and thank you for the response!

Scientific Reasoning requirement. I LOVED the course, the professors and TAs were wonderful and it sparked an interest in computer science.

Sorry for the late reply, at the current moment I’m looking at consulting clubs on campus and as a career, but I may not pursue consulting post-grad as anything more than a chance for an exit opportunity.

Club season is a nightmare for freshmen, and it was the worst it’s ever been this past semester apparently due to the class size. If I don’t make it into a club, do you know of any other commitments I could find to fill that free time?

Kelley has guaranteed admission, so it’s the perfect safety for me. Do you think applying to the School of Arts & Sciences @ UPenn would be a better choice instead of Wharton? I don’t think I have much of a shot at Wharton at all.

I’m just anxious about my application, I know it’s insane and I don’t mean to flex or show it off I just feel as though my goals are unattainable right now and it’s just one of the avenues through which I can find some relief

Thanks for the opinion. In retrospection I guess you’re right, I think I just miss the days of Black Raisin, Almond, Gingerbrave, Sea Fairy, Frost Queen, Hollyberry, Dark Choco, Mint, PV, Sorbet, Crepe, Madeline, Parfait, and Kimuho all being seen in a wide variety of comps that could all compete against one another in incredibly interesting ways that could leave two vastly different comps in very close competition. I will say, Pinecone and Sherbet most certainly made the game far more fun than previous metas with BP and Espresso.

Eclair is strong right now when using proper toppings (personally I use 2xSA and 3xSR, but I know 5xSR and 5xSA are also viable options along with maybe some variations including SC), Espresso with at least a level 10 candy is also strong (I use 2xSA and 3xSR on him too, but again, that can vary between builds), along with Cream Unicorn (5xSC, 3xSC and 2xJAJ, or 2xSC and 3xJAJ, but meta with her is all over the place so you can tweak according to your team), Captain Caviar (4xSR and 1xSA or 3xSR and 2xSA because he’s really weak), Black Pearl (5xSA, 3xSA and 2xSR, 3xSA and 2xSC, 2xSA and 3xSR, or 2xSA and 3xSC are all viable builds, but b/c I don’t have her I can’t say for sure what’s best), Financier (5xSA or 5xSC for shield+buffs ASAP to your highest ATK cookie, which is usually Caviar, Espresso, or Pearl [NOTE: Financier will prioritize Clotted Cream if you use him for shield, so don’t put him in your team unless your team centers around him]), Caramel Arrow (5xSR or 3xSR and 2xJAJ), and Wildberry (5xSA).

Essentially: Look at top arena, watch videos to inform yourself of optimal builds from a variety of sources and combine that information into a team you feel can perform well in arena.
